So got internet now?
I got a few prints to work with and they germinated on agar nicely. Ill be starting a load in a month from MS to see what the fruitability is like. The print i used was rather dirty tho for some reason, i had to wait for the myc to piss all over the bacteria but it bounced back stongly.
Mate, you need to get some slants asap its too easy.
About potency, I aint had them, i buckled and took pans instead but my mate took 5 g and said they were good, 5 g of any cube will be nice, so i dunno.

they didn't loook very blue after you cross sectioned it,
and I dont know if its a sure fire indicator but usually the more bruising I get the better it is potency wise

The caps bruised when the shrooms were young and after some abuse. That cross sectioned one did go blue after while, the pic was also take immediately after it was cut with a incredibly sharp knife so no bruising.
Bruising and potency are not coupled as people think, Im looking at a load of dried Pan stems and a lot of the are still white, does this mean the are weak?

bruising is due to a reaction of Psilocin strong bruising = high content of Psilocin
it´s not an indicator how much a mushroom contains the stable Psilocybin

Well I think its common knowledge the blue bruising is caused by the oxidation of psilocin, so I dont see why more oxidized psilocin wouldn't be a good indicator that it has/ or had a higher content of psilocin than less bruised samples, which were handled in the same manner,
It just seems logical

The disappearance of the psilocin was accompanied by the development of a blue color in the incubation mixture. When higher concentrations of psilocin and kidney homogenate were used the development of the blue color was extremely rapid and intense, reaching a dark blue within a matter of minutes.
When the reaction was carried under a nitrogen atmosphere similar results were found as with KCN, indicating that the degradation of psilocin by rat kidney homogenate involved an aerobic oxidative process.
Both of these statements say that psilocin is degraded by oxidative procedures to reach the blue colour, and when there are high amounts of psilocin present, they turn a deeper blue, and at a quicker rate...
taken from, The enzymic dephosphorylation and oxidation of psilocybin and psilocin by mammalian tissue homogenates Horita A, Weber LJ
Link for reference
and when I said it was common knowledge I figured there would be lots of proof of this process, I wasn't trying to be rude

Im sure If I loooked hard enough I could
But I lack dedication, commitment and desire
Ill continue to believe the blue means they're dank
and anyone else can believe whatever they want

Luckily this is a hobby where believing something that isn't true CAN make a difference, if you can't prove he's wrong, why fight it?
Ignorance is bliss! I got called ignorant this week, maybe these are signs. I should probably read a book.

Of course anyone can believe what ever they want.
I just like facts, personal preference I suppose.
