That strain isnt AA+ right?
AA+ is not a true albino and drops purple spores,
so thats just an Albino of some other cube strain?

Not AA+, just a spontaneous cube albino.

Greetings fellers!
I'll post some photos of Shooting Star that I took a few minutes ago ... (kinda white ... I guess we can call them 'albino' or at least 'leucistic'.
just me gave me some colonized WBS (it was labeled Shooting Star Albino) months ago. He had an albino fruit appear randomly, he cloned it and did a couple of isolations on agar if I remember correctly.
Anyway, I was a total looser and didn't do anything with the spawn for two months.
Finally, I spawned it to bulk substrate in a monotub. It colonized the bulk normally .... and then just kind of stalled ... took forever to pin. When it finally did, the first pins looked very white. Other pins looked almost 'translucent' ... kind of clear and fairly colorless.
The fruits have been growing slowly. Here they are:

Like badman's, they are bluing on the top of the caps.
Looks like the veils are about to tear on some of them. I'm curious what the gills will look like.
Also curious how just me's fruits will look. These should be similar, if not, the same.

One day later. You can see the gills now that the veils are torn away:

the taller fruit in the rear was pure white yesterday ... stipe has developed some buff colored streaking. ?

Nice and gnarled
On the top pic, shroom on the top right has a slight orange tint, was that colour on the substrate anywhere else like the egdes or corners?
Heres the first print attempt, 48 hours printing.
I dont actually know if these are spores or stains left by the gills but we'll soon find out. The rest of the caps will be left for another 12 hours or so.
What do you think spores or stains?

I'd say there's a few spores there.
Good luck with the next batch!

I think there is too, . Out of the many only 3 did not leave any deposits and the mid sized caps seem to leave the most goodness.
I might update with the next gen but it will be a while so dont hold your breath. Hopefully rico and just me update their grows.

Received a text from just me this afternoon .... he doesn't have internet access at his new spot yet .... he described some Shooting Star albino fruits he has harvested and dried ... so it sounds like he is a little ahead of me.
I just harvested a cluster that was well ripe ...

This cluster was 213 wet grams. just me wrote that his were quite dense .... as these are (same genetics). He attempted a print which he said was 'weak' .... I suppose I should also try a print or two or three .... seems silly since we are working from tissue that has been isolated. Suppose I must ...'for science' !
Anyway ... here are a couple of photos of a first cluster.
edit. went ahead and have three nice caps printing. the fruits are all much bluer now ... from the man-handling they got photographing them etc.
