Well, N Korea has always beeen an enemy of ours. They're Communist and we're Capitalist. But this would've happened sooner or later, I wonder what's gonna happen in the future.

They are an enemy, possibly the biggest threat, to America as a whole, not just to Bush. If you think that they are not an enemy of your's, that's fine. But they are threatening to wipe out existence as we know it, and that includes you.

hardly. they want nukes to get the 'respect' a country with nukes gets. they will use it to leverage their world position but thats bout it. who are they gonna attack? south korea? do they even have icbm capability? or are they gonna supposively 'support terrorists' with their nukes?

Actually, they don't have ICBM technology as far as we know, and I do believe they realize the possible effects of a nuclear war (they only have 2 nukes right now), which is a good thing. That's why I'm not too worried, I think this will just end up being another Cold War.

But to say that just because you personally don't have anything against N. Korea (and are therefore not affected) or that you won't be affected by a nuclear war because you don't live within our borders is downright ignorant. That is far different from the solely optimistic view you hold.

Well you see, the leader of N Korea is a nut case. The guy has no reasoning whatsoever. We might not have a million man army like they do but if you're in N Korea and you want to be fed then you might as well join the military.

The way I see it, N Korea is China's little puppet. N Korea's recieved a lot of help from China to production of the nuke. N Korea's scientists in the production are Chinese. Taiwan might be in for some shit.
