Peeps from what i read yes i know that having the jar in a incubator helps for faster colonization.. Now is it better to ahve them in the dark or can they be lets say sitting in a self?

LoL, I dont put the jars in myself (temps too high :grin:).

If you have the jars exposed to light they will be more prone to pin invetro. If you are planning to case them make sure they are in the dark. I have seen people get invetro pins and fruits in jars and bags all over this site. I only wish I had that problem :grin:

Like the guy above said, leave them in dark so they dont prematurely pin.

I advise that you keep them in a dark place. The only light they recieve should be from you checking up on them maybe every other day.
