When to transfer casing to terrarium?

Sorry for the boring, basic question...but I'm a bit confused here. I consulted the FAQ, which said to move the casing into the terrarium when some mycelium is visible in the valleys of your casing. This is a bit vague to me. First off, I don't exactly know what a "valley" is, considering my casing is almost perfectly level. Some areas have mycelium popping up, some don't. I really don't want to patch case right now as I'm paranoid about contamination...but if it's absolutely neccesary I will. Can anyone describe what my casing should look like when I transfer it to the terrarium?
Thanks Viking
P.S. If this matters, it's a 4 cake Lipa Yai casing put into a small lasagna pan

When you see white popping through and starting to colonize the top is when you put it in the fruiting chamber. How much you let it colonize really depends. If there's too much white on top, it may overlay. If there's not enough, you will be waiting a few extra days for pins.
As soon as you see about 5 or 6 spots popping through, toss 'em in and see what happens
Edit* Good luck!

Awesome...into the terrarium it goes! Thanks for the help.

P.S. I can't get over how fast those spots appeared. The top had no mycelium whatsover when I first made it, and 48 hours later I have 8-10 spots, some larger than others.

mighta had a thin casing layer and over agressive mycelium. u can patch if u want it is susposed to support a more even pinset.
