on the 24th, it was for being under the influence of speed and having a pipe(packed)
what are the consequences i am to expect? such as fines, probation, etc etc
i have a friend who got busted with me, he had around 4-6g's of speed and he got his 3 felony charges dismissed in court ...
i am in california, so what can i expect in the courthouse? i am hoping to get my case dismissed too, im assuming its going to be hard finding a job with that charge

80 hours community service (ten days of weekend work), 6 months license suspension (but you can apply to be allowed to drive to work), $1500 fine, 6 months of dui school twice a week.
Assuming that they tested you and found speed in your system.
You didn't say exactly what you were charged with.

if you havent been assigned a lawyer yet, this is probably a preliminary hearing. get a lawyer (public defender if funds are low) and explain the situation. tell him your friends case was dismissed and that yours should be too.
