The Gypsum i have is pellet form...It says its for soil repair and the brand name is soil doctor
Anyway let it sit in a quart jar with water and got rid of the binder but the sediment on the bottom wont fully dissolve
I couldn't obtain garden gypsum and could not crush the pellets
Whats the secret here
Right now im preparing my coir coffee verm mix
Every things in the bucket waiting for the nearly boiling water except the gypsum which i have on the side
Until i get a response im going to try adding the gypsum into the water i have heating on the stove and see if that helps to break it down
Any ideas i really want to add the gypsum? Ive seen the difference with and with out it
Fast response would be really appreciated i have it on the stove now
Thank you

That stuff dissolves really easily. I just mix it straight in to the dry ingredients and add water.

well i should say it dissolved but not completely...It went from a more rocky form to having the consistency of sand...is this what im looking for...Ive never used gypsum

I dunno if it's the "correct" consistency, but I grind drywall into about the same consistency as fine sand and it's always grown some pretty big shrooms.

Grit the size of sand is fine. The mycelium will get what it needs. RR
