Some grains not colonized
    #12054563 - 02/18/10 02:47 PM (14 years, 10 months ago)

I have a couple of jars colonizing with brasil strain cubensis.  They are about 9 days since inoculation.
All seems to be going well except I can see a few grains around the outside of the jars that aren`t being colonized.

I`m wondering if it looks ok to you guys?

Thats fine. Give it another 2-3 days to make sure the middle is all set then spawn.

^^this.  not every grain will look 100% white, especially the grains that are pressed up against the side real hard. give it a few days to consolidate n youre good to go

I was thinking that I could manually push/pull the showercap up and down and make the bucket breathe through polyfil.  Or else I may use a computer fan on a timer.

Anyway, this is the one I am going to try

Thanks man I certainly hope so.  It`s my first attempt at grains.  The only other grow I have done was a PfTek a couple of years ago.  I forgot how exciting the hobby is.:mushroom2:
