Looks like a shroom is growing back into the cake, what to do ?

Hi there, I've encountered a little problem with my PF cakes. It seems that a pin is growing back into the cake. This pin came out a bit before the rest and it is a bit larger than the rest. I didn't care to much about it when I saw it, but now it looks like there is mycelium growing on it (or something that looks quite much like mycelium). As this is my first successful grow (at least for now) I'm not quite sure what to do. Remove it, or just let it be there ?

Just leave it. I've had this happen many times, and most of the time the shroom changes direction.

I would say increase your fresh air and let it have a little more light. It may have been confused as to which way to grow. Maybe just an anomaly. More air should help with mycelium growing on mushrooms.

nothing to worry about, just let it grow, this happens pretty often. pick it when you harvest the rest of the cake

you have to remove that mushroom or else it will turn on itself and stab the cake, fatally wounding it. cake suicide.

prismism is right, unless you're growing penis envy, in which case it will shag the cake silly and leave it in a much better mood, if slightly blue.
Tough call.

Neither of you were right; it won't "stab" itself and injure the cake at all. I hope you two were simply joking.
