Storing a Pastuerized bulk substrate

I read a couple different posts about storing bulk, but i was wondering if anyone had an opinion on the route i was going to take. I plan on pastuerizing a solid amount of bulk substrate, coir/coffee/verm, and having some left over. I was going to vaccum seal it and store it in the fridge.
Probably would only be stored for a month or so, was thinkin about doing the same with casing.
Any input? anyone tried this method?

lose the coffee in your sub but that's just my 2 cents. As for putting it in the fridge...I would just wait and mix your sub when needed for the best results. This is just my 2 cent but if I have learned anything it's "don't get ahead of yourself".

I've had really poor results with pasteurized substrates not being used soon after making. I wouldn't keep it over a week. Longer is pushing it. Sterilized substrates last much longer, but also generally perform poorly compared to pasteurized. RR

well, i mean, i do usually do that, but i always have more than i need, so to save supplies im trying to find a way to store it for the next spawn run.... as for dropping the coffee, i dont know, ive enjoyed using it in my substrate mixture and its shown good results.

In that case I would make a litle les sub mix so you don't have so much left over. In my scientific study coffee was an invite for contam but I was doing mono. I find that some coir and a little verm on top works great

so true. i had some poo/straw left over so i threw it in the freezer for about 2 months. thawed it out and used it. Took forever to colonized... then fave me a horrible flush. i wouldnt plan on using it if its more than a week old.

Shoot me a pm if you would like a powerful custom laser built. 4th pic is a 1.3W 445nm laser burning thru some plastic makeup containers. Yes I was wearing proper safety goggles, otherwise I would be blind right now.

this can all be fixed by RATIO. do the RATIO right and you won't have to worry about putting un used sub in your fridge
