Slow Mycelial growth and good vendors...

Kurt Russell has had some PES hawaiian growing in 10 jars for his first grow ever. They have been growing for close to a month and are fairly close to being completely colonized, but this still seems like a very long time. Correct me if im wrong and a multispore inoculation may take about a month or something. My main question here is if the quality of the spores from the vendor may have been bad and cause slow growth. I believe that the jars are in a pretty optimal environment, following instruction on temperature and everything else in the forum(sorry, dont have a digital camera or id post some pics). Also, if you can recommend a vendor that is highly trustworthy, please do, as i ordered too quickly last time and got them from Spores101, still not sure how good that organization is.
Thanks for you time and the help!

Lol better start buying the fast growing ones...
Don't blame the vendors, to put it simply you wouldn't blame the pet store because your puppy grew up to be retarded.

Im not really trying to blame them, i have just seen a good bit of threads saying things about vendors and was wondering about spores101.com. Now im gonna have to start blaming the strain cause they are just taking forever to colonize and im pretty sure ive got everything right so far. 0 contams though, so thats good, at least ill eventually have something to munch on

I've had some jars take like 40 days to fully colonize on brf. I don't think it was the vendor, even though they aren't a shroomery sponsor they are pretty reputable compared to some other non shroomery sponsors.

Okay, after some research and looking again at my procedure when i put everything in the jars, i probably put a bit too much water if that possible. Also, i got a thermometer about halfway through the colonization, so, although they were in an incubator, i had no way of making sure. They are now at a steady 76 F. Mine only took a few days to germinate but proceeded slowly from there, even after tape removal.
