Cloning to Rye or LC?
    #12046370 - 02/17/10 11:26 AM (14 years, 10 months ago)

i'm think about ditching the whole LC idea, after seeing the numerous problems with it, plus i dont have a magnetic stirrer. i'm thinking of just throwing my clone sample into a master WBS jar instead and use that for cloning, what do ya think

Start it on grain. If you see that its clean, you can make a grain LC out of that.

I think it's a good idea.  Just be sterile.  And do what cloneufc said.

Take multiple samples and clone it to rye and make an LC as a backup if the grains get fucked up. Cloned tissue makes a perfectly useable LC in a couple of days to a week and a half.

I kind of like em.  No micropore tape involved, but still contam proof.  I think the dots are just marker dots not holes.
