My first spawn to bulk

Sorry if posts like this get old. Ive looked at a few over the past few days and feel like I should be able to make an educated guess for my question... But seeing as its my first one I'd like opinions.
I spawned WBS to a coir/verm/coffee mix on 2/1 and here is what they are currently looking like.
Ive done a grow with a casing and know if I saw growth like this on that It better be in the FC by now.
Since this is a spawn to bulk should I let it be another day or two? Its a little patchy so I'm thinking wait a bit more. But its my first ones so I R not sure.

TY for your opinion

First of: Don't use tin foil trays, but plastic ones. Many times, the mycelium will "digest" the aluminium, and makes it useless for later grows.
The substrate should be completely colonized, so I'd let them sit for another two days maybe. Well, until the whole surface is colonized.

Cool, ty Fahkface. And yea, I noticed that last time and didnt reuse them at all because even tho it didnt work its way totally through the aluminum I tossed em cause it would suck to pick one up and the bottom fall out lol. I was able to get a 6 pack for $3.50 so it felt economical but yea, ill look into plastic next time.

looks good. like fahk said, wait until full colonization and as far as aluminum trays go, i use them. after my first flush i usually just take the block out of the tray but i see where youre coming from with "useless for later grows" that is certainly true

OO, not sure why I didnt think about possibly taking them out of the tray. Thanks rsinatra13 I might do that some this time.
With the casings I made last time trying to dunk them (which made wonderful following flushes) was such a pain in the ass because I was so insistent on them staying in the pan. I felt like the top casing layer would just mix into the water. Made for a big mess, hard to drain, and some frustration since they tried to tell me they didnt want to be in pans any more.
No casing this time... hopefully less mess.

You can use aluminum trays. The mycelium wont eat it up as long as you take it out of the tray as soon as its fully colonized.

If I go that route should i put something on the perlite in my FC? Like some foil right under the bulk cake thing to reduce any light that could come in through the bottom?
And I'm totally trying a mono tub next go around. I feel like all this was a bit unneeded but I'm a noob and get to learn from mistakes still

Couldn't he just wrap the trays in clingwrap before he puts bulk in the tray?

As we know, Pans are quiet picky. Apparently they don't like aluminium. Pussies

Hey there, Zach!
How's your bulk stuff coming along? It should be fruiting right now!
