if it is fully colonized you can introduce it to fruiting with no problems..

From what youve described, I would introduce it into fruiting conditions =P

Ok, here is a curveball for you: buddy has another tub that he made 4.5 days ago with a ton of spawn, and it's fully colonized, too. Is there anything to waiting a certain amount of days, or do you just go by percnt completion of the top layer? All of these tubs were done with frosting layers, by the way. But still, some of these strains are ungodly fast and rhizomorphic. Lozarvking and amazon will eat your lunch for you if you leave it next to them. Ban thanon, too. Hoo ah!

If its fully colonized I think you can go ahead and introduce it to fruiting conditions, im not sure if bulk subs need a week to consolidate or not.

As for cakes, a week of consolidation after full colonization is best, since you prevent a drying of the substrate. You can put it to fruiting conditions right away, but waiting a few days has shown better results for many people, including myself.

Mine are always usually fully colonized at the 6-7 mark but i always wait 10 or so just to make sure and know that the sub is fully colonized all the way through. Since you did a frosting layer id wait those few extra days. It's not going to hurt anything
