Hey everybody. My mycelium and i have finally made it to the stage of fruiting. I dunked my BRF cakes for 24 hours and place in a FC with a humidity of 100%. I am real worried about temperatures. My room consistently stays at 63-65 all day and night. Will this dramatically effect my fruits. I want to do this right, will i be alright? Thats for any help given

That is so great to hear. Also, my bedroom has a wood burning stove, so when i am home i tend to use it. Will it be alright if my temps fluctuate between 62-76? Awesome site, awesome hobbie!

I like helping people when i can. I have a question that i cannot seem to find the answer to. How much water do i use when i mist? I can find how many times a day to mist but people just say mist very little about 2 feet above FC. How many squirts (approximately) of water should i use? How much is "very little"

you have to use your own judgement on that, thas why you cant find the answer...spray enough so its nice and moist, but no puddles on your substrate...its something you have to do to your liking and then go from there..

definately will not forget to fan with my lid after each misting. I have a friend who is doing the same set up as i am doing. We each did BRF, except he inoculated his jars 2 1/2 months ago and was just able to put them in his FC 13 days ago. I inoculate 25 days ago and my jars for the most part are completely colonized(i have a few left to finish). I know that he did not take off his tape until i told him to, which was 1 month and 20 days in. That probably had almost everything to do with it. A big problem with my buddys cakes is that they are producing small mushies and the veils are dropping so soon. Even when some still look like pins the veils drop(not all but some). What could he be doing wrong. hmmmmm...
