Rye grain, sorta wet looking on bottom:
    #12043246 - 02/16/10 09:08 PM (14 years, 10 months ago)

So, I followed all the rye grain prep, and put the jars away, its been a few days, but now they look like the water from the rye has sunk to the bottom, not a lot. It might be the grain, just pushing against the jar that makes it look wet, but a few of them I can see the water moving around when I tilt it.

they seem to be growing just fine, but ive read a few things about wet spots and shit.
I don't know, I just thought it was weird that they would let off a little water.

Also, they dont smell funky, but they smell almost like creamed corn.\

I turned one over, and let some of the liquid drip out, and its like a yellowy liquid,

How is it dripping out, man? What kind of GE do you have to the jars? The yellow is more likely myc-piss, if the majority of the grains look dry on the outer shell, then they should be okay. Just keep an eye out for slowed growth, because it could mean bacteria, but don't jump to that conclusion right away, like RR did with mine, because he was wrong and my jars took off running after he told me it was hopeless:rolleyes:
