Im looking for some trusted websites which i can order from. I want to grow enough for a few people plus some extra. But ive never grown b4 and I don't want to grow it wrong and get poisoned which is why I want an easy method. Ide prefer to stay under 100 bucks area.

use a sponsor. You can't go wrong if you use one of them.
http://www.shroomery.org/sponsors.php
and checkout rogerrabbits lets grow mushrooms videos. You should probably start of with the pf tek. but it talks all about that in his videos on the site.

I used sporestore to get my spores, $15 for 2 12cc syringes. Follow the PF Tek to the letter.

Kits are a waste of money and from what I can tell they're not a whole lot easier.

Or if your set on a kit, look thru the sponsors till you find one that has a whole kit. There out there. Even if you have to look outside the sponsor list(which I dont recommend), just use google.

aren't the kits like 80-90 bucks or something. I've never really looked but I thought they were ridiculous like that. You aren't going to be able to buy a full kit that has spores in the kit because its illegal to grow them so spores are sold for microspoy and if they were in a kit then that would be like they were selling them for the purpose of growing. If you have a lowes or home depot near by you should be able to get everything there except the spores and brown rice flour.
you basically just need a rubbermaid tub. some half pint wide mouth jars. brown rice flour, vermiculite, perlite, spores and some cleaning supplies.

Pressure cookers are good to have as well. Not completely necessary, but very handy for bigger projects. And Ace Hardware's full of usefull stuff (jars, PC, Verm, perlite)

when i was younger, a guy in a nice car stoped by my home front stairs where i was smoking a dubey, and asked me if i could help him out with a little bit of weed, i said yeah sure why not, you want enough for a joint or 2 ? he said yeah, but oh wait a minute, i rather you get me something like a pound, atleast a pound.
well, he sounds a little like that too me.
anyway, if you wanna grow shrooms, and find EVERYTHING at the same place, plus for under a hundred -bucks- good luck.
i just dont trust it.
hey maybe stress is the cause of my paranoi.
dude just use google and look around.

Get a PC, firstly, you can go to Canadian Tire or local equivilent and get your jars too, then to Safeway to get some grain or brf and a garden place for the verm, gypsum...everything else you need....it'd take you a couple hours to get everything and cost just as much as ordering a potentially failing kit and you'll know for next time where to get all your supplies

Yea, and some stuff can be bought in bulk for way cheaper than online. I bought a 25 lb. bag of gypsum last week for like $6. Just take the time to buy everything. Kits are so elementary, but not much easier than anything else...

I would suggest you make a list of everything you need. It also depends on what TEK you'll be using (PF, Casing, etc...) -PC -Vermiculite (fine grade, preferably) -Brown Rice Flour -etc... you can find a list somewhere...
And I would just order a premade syringe from one of the Shroomery sponsors...
And, not including the PC, probably less than $100. Just a wild guess. I bought all my equipment somewhat seperately...

Good Fresco PC is $70 Everything else you might be paying $50-$60...depends on what you get, how you plan on going about it and everything else. As for how much you'll get out of it, could be absolutely nothing, up to 10lbs if you want, it all just depends on your methods and what you plan on trying. If you want bulk, then go with grains and get as much mush as you could prossibly want in a lifetime, or go with Brown Rice Flour and vermiculite cakes for a good amount, but nothing terribly special.
Pirates: Don't you love finding huge bags of supplies for next to nothing, it's literally like growing money on trees, if you know what you're doing.

Thanks for all the input. Im going to do the BRF-PK-TK method. How many syringes should I pick up? Also is one strain better than another for medical users?
