Easier, Cheaper and Tastier than Easy mac
    #12037058 - 02/15/10 10:07 PM (14 years, 3 days ago)

I never bought Easy Mac before, but I was staying with some folks once at a vacation resort to party and had some. I was hung over and I snuck into the kitchen while everyone was still asleep and ate all of this chick's mini easy macs (6 of 'em) Yeah, I'm a horrible Guest .
I figured they were cheap as dirt considering how baby of an amount they had in each one, but she was kinda pissed because she paid like 6$ for 'em.
They weren't horrible, obviously, because I ate all of 'em... but I wouldn't pay for 'em... they take like 5 minutes to boil the water, then you gotta wait for it to cool a couple minutes, you gotta add the cheese and stir it (I know, lot of work huh? haha) kind of a pain in the ass for one bite of food.

I found something better.. Chef Boyardee makes a can of already made Mac 'n' Cheese.  I don't normally buy stuff like that, but I picked it up during the snow storm for back-up food, because it was 89cents a can, and I finally just ate it.
Took about 40 seconds to heat up and it was actually really fuckin' good and there's at least 10 good spoon-fulls in each can.

I could see wiping out a stock of 'em during a night of heavy smokage.

Easy Mac makes no sense to me. It doesn't take too much longer to boil water on the stove and cook the shit from the box. Plus it's cheaper and you get way more.

You can actually do regular KD in a microwave, I used to do it all the time.  Mind you I ate so much in first and second year I just CANNOT stomach that shit anymore.

But only then

The cleanup is the same. Boil water, pour some out, put in cheese, eat. One pot.

Plus who the fuck eats one thing of Easy Mac? Or you could just use half a box.

I make regular mac & cheese in the microwave.

All you do is put all the macaronis in a bowl with water and cook for like 5 minutes then strain and add butter, milk, and the cheese stuff.

All you have to do is clean one bowl and a strainer if you have one.

Used to eat that canned macaroni when I lived out of a truck.

Never cooked it though.

Haha... Well, if it makes you guys feel any better, she drank a shit load (that I insisted she drink to make amends for my thievery), of my 'La Cognac De Napoleon' (Courvoisier)
Which was considerably more expensive than her lousy mac 'n' cheese: $36 a bottle

Non-stick pots are easier to clean than a bowl actually. Plus who does dishes as soon as they're done with them? That's ludicrous.

True... My dishes pile to the ceiling before I do 'em... unless my girlfriend is here, and she'll do 'em.... or else.

I saw those at the grocery store but the store brand was cheaper(Kroger) and bought those instead.  Tasted like shit threw it out.  Unfortunately I bought like 10 so they're gonna go into the food donation box. hahaha Somethings better than nothing though.  I'll try the Boyardee brand next time and post results if I remember.
