Ok guys. I was going with old information on the skin of a zebra. I was going for black but will give y'all that one because I didn't research it enough to know that it can vary and therefore is a bad question. I do not however think that it is striped skin. so if you said that, well it's really iffy.
The answer to #5 is 7 so whoever said otherwise missed that one.
I'll get efrog to post the answers I sent in the pm to her as to what I was looking for but don't anyone get upset. If you feel that you were the winner, I won't overlook you.
Give me a little more time. :peace:

And the internet is the new public library and no one is going to go out and read a book on all of this so without upsetting anyone, google answers are fine by my and I'm the one giving the prints so let's put that to bed now and forever. It's fine.

OK then  My bad - I took it like copy-pasting answers is like cheating - so sorry on that one. *Apologies*

Yeah, copy and paste isn't as fun but this is the electronic age and we all get our info off the net these days. In fact, most of the questions I proposed were from off the net so it's no biggie and no one wants anyone upset over a fun little give away.
After checking around a little I am inclined to go with a zoologist opinion on the color of zebra skin over an answer from Wiki.
But like I said, that was a bad question on my part for not giving more thought to the ambiguity that could arise.
So here's the deal.
PM me if you feel that you were the first with the correct answers and we'll work it out.:peace::heart:

Do you seriously think that it's OK to answer a quiz (not my quiz, so up to GoL - but this still bugs me as a human) by copy-pasting answers word for word?

It wasn't a copy-paste test. I mean, if you play Trivial Pursuit, do you hike it over to the PC to check google for the answers?

Also, your copied answer is still incorrect anyway.

I am not trying to incite a riot and I don't want to cause a scene in GoL fun thread, but seriously?

You didn't show yourself to be of any great trivial awesomeness, nor did you care about the print - so what was your point in answering at all?

Or: I don't think it was put in the rules because I think that most people accept that a trivia quiz is a test of what you know, not what you can copy/paste.

Damn, I knew that was the question I shoulda looked into a little bit more! I kinda just took the first answer I found and thought was right.

Cool contest!

and i can say the same to you, do you honestly think that anyone who answered questions DIDN"T use the search engine? just like sang just stated, he too took the wrong answer...

and as far as the print, yes i would of loved to have an oak ridge to add to my collection, but im not going to stress over it, its not that big of a deal..

EDITED: You know what? Whatever, man. If you feel good in yourself about it - then who am I to judge?

Gangster's contest not mine - so sorry for being a bit bitchy about it.

Answeris still WRONG though and frankly? Wikis and other user-submitted info sites are making people more and more ignorant by the year because so many people post totally incorrect answers, then others propagate these answers, and then you just have a load of people copy-pasting stupid things which aren't even true.

Just like the proliferation of mushroom and cannabis propaganda.

Anyway, sorry for disqualifying you when I was wrong to do so.

Your answer is still wrong though - so I guess google better next time.

I can agree with both sides, but in the end I think it was just a creative way to give something away to someone willing to put it a small amount of leg work.
Take me for instance. I am just completing my first cultivation and look forward to return the kharma to the community by holding a contest. You can't just say "free print to whoever says ME ME ME"
So you come up with some random, fun contest that probably doens't matter either which way as a way to keep thing interesting and share the wealth. Am I wrong?

Well, as far as I am concerned, as the judge of this shindig:

NO ONE HAS POSTED THE RIGHT ANSWERS YET.

There are correct answers to these questions - and these are yet to be posted.

So far, there is no winner.

I too, have googled to double check the original answers and actually done some research, and the other answers - all of 'em - are still incorrect.

If we are forced to eliminate the question in question, than the first closest is avorg and he would win by default, as he was first and he answered everything else correctly and damn fast, too.

As judge - this is my decision.

Our kind sponsor may have something else to say, so I will await his decision, before posting the answers.

OK,
avorg was the first one with the correct answers if we say fuck the zebra question because I don't have time to debate it and I'm currently fresh out of zebra's to shave in order to find out.

next came biologys who did great but answered #5 incorrectly so technically he was out because of that.

Next was sanguine who once again did well minus the zebra thing.

insomniatic_trips: you did well but missed the one about PH so I had to count you out as well.

coolnamehere: you also did great minus the zebra thingy.

So Avorg is the winner folks. So avorg, PM me your info please.
If I've talked to you via PM, go with the information I told you.
Thanks for playing everyone and just a FYI, I'm choking the shit out of the next goddamn zebra I run into.
