Is greying of shrooms that were possibly too dry a contam or is this natural. I know they will usually turn blue if too dry, but grey? I'm worried that they might be contam but I can't find anything in the FAQ. Can I dry them and eat them. Oh yeah, when they start to turn grey( on the stems, often starting at the base) they slow in growth if not stoping alltogether. Are they aborts?

Yeah, they could be aborting. Sounds like not enough air exchanges.
It also could be a contam from within the casing
