Large drying chamber any ideas?

I recently helped my friend pick his first flush. They are currently fan drying. I was trying to help him find a container that was large enough and would still be airtight. It was a pretty large flush so the normal tupperware container thing wont work. I want to use chickenwire, can you have multiple layers of the chickenwire so that the bottom of the container holds the dessicant and above it are about 2 or 3 different levels of chickenwire?

Buy one of those large-ass Rubbermaid "Roughnecks". Tape down the top, do what you want in the inside, just remember to use a little more dri-rite.

After a day or two of fan drying, they will be noticeably smaller (size & weight) than they are now. I use a big popcorn bowl (with tupperware type lid) I got from Blockbuster a couple years back, and I can get 2-3 ounces in there, easy.
However, you can put multiple layers of chicken wire in your container and it will work just as well. I have a second rack I have used on occasion, to keep strains separate. Just keep an eye on your dessicant - keep it fresh. You can stretch the life of your dessicant by placing a paper towel under it. The moisture will leach into the paper, and your dessicant will last much longer. With big batches, I just pour the dessicant off of one paper towel on to a new one every 10-12 hours, and return everything to the chamber. I use about 1/10th as much dessicant as I used to when I just poured the crystals into the bottom of the bowl. hth
