Progress.

People starved the day mankind kicked the moon.
No clean water to drink while we fill our spitoon.

The communal world's worth spent on war.
Wells of fear and greed from which to draw.

More connected than ever, apparently.
Communal delusion running concurrently.

We've been in the red for quite a while.
Each in denial of a system pyramidal.

Ease of existence, constantly getting older.
The handles of the sold with 2 aircons to stay colder.

We aren't living in harmony or anywhere near balance.
Its hard for the west to question while choking on decadence.

The denial of implications that every action we take has.
Is either ignorance personified or deliberate malaise.

If you have to much than somebody doesn't have enough.
This you may see if you look up from your trough.

Eqaulity may be a dirty word to some.
If we keep progressing like this this I fear our day may come.

Needles in the sky
Weaving holes
The sun presents cataracts
I refuse but I do appreciate the offer

Porcelain doves fly on the table
The mirror spends its last photon
On a faceless child
Whom only God can see

The peninsula burns
The rabbits sense danger
The night draws a circle across the sky
Eyes of attack and defend

Looping algorithms lace the portal
High esteem or just high?
Looping algorithms lace the portal
High esteem or just high?

The Telepath

Networks silent screaming
Centers moving dreaming
Extrasensory motherboard
Circuits fairly gleaming

The middle of attention
Visual distension
Eyes play tricks, eye it's thick
Electrical dimension

Frames moving together
Not really knowing whether
One is moving both or if
There is some sort of tether

Candidate shows symptoms
Indications of rhythms
Finishing another's sentences
Perceptual sheer prisms

In advancing stages
(Like one finds among sages)
Phenomena shift rapidly
A higher realm engages

The future holds the answers for
The questions coming through the door
We do not know for certain what
It means, but we'll know more

Its about a tribe of people who came out of the jungle 20 years to try and give others a perspective and warning and there was a film made back then.
The film I'm suggesting is made just recently because the original reporter (now retired) was summoned back by them 20 years on.

Their way of thinking and understanding the universe around them is imo astounding. I only saw it for the first time last night and for some reason I thought of you. The opening lines about thought and matter are worth it alone.

I say it on TV so I'm not sure how you would be able to do it over the net...not savvy at all.

A Google search of  ...Aluna documentary...  seems to bring up a few options.

Red cherry on the end of my little white stick.

Internally ingesting even though they make me sick.
Soon to be gone, they do not last long, but as my will is weak and Corruption is strong,

soon 19 more sticks in my pack will be gone.

Warily awaiting once more for the sun to rise again
Wearily creating art in the dark to spark the light within
Where I listen and observe,
Always missing the right words
My verse is a caustic curse
That hurts for what it's worth
But it will see me through the night
As it fills my head with insight,
And it keeps be safe and warm
While I sleep and awaken reborn
Another night
I weathered the storm
For another day
Where new ideas are born

Winnowing The Chaff

Chill zephyrs wend over the Hills Of Rest
To stave the night sky with burbles of babies, as we shed the tears for our illusions
Stained with the indelible mark of blood
As the rites of forefathers rend the ducts of our eyes, engulfed with thorns
With adustion they close, as the thurible swings
And the Apple Of Discord rattles and shakes, in the hands of posterity

My love, leave your beautiful sonnet
Upon my messy writing desk
By morning, it will spontaneously
Turn in to something grotesque....
Leave me a pretty bouquet of fragrant flowers
And surely they will be dead within the hour...
Withering  away...
As my senses decay
Please, I beg, Don't let my second verse
Continue this toxic trait I didn't rehearse

I hope my influence isn't contagious
And damages the libraries' sagacious pages'
Because it seems that everything I write
Fills Entropy's guts with utter delight,
My poems of woes are morose, i know
But I write about my life, the only thing I know

Too late to see the dimension fall
It's a ghost in the senses now

Where the play is set
I keep watch
Making sure leaves don't fall on the ground
Bugs make their way across
But I resent it

Endless cars driving by with hands cusping the mouth
Something occurred without my line being spoken
Strange, I thought the play was next week

All the world's a stage and its players are all breaking the rules
What didn't I say?
Sometimes I like the silence
Sometimes I think I hear someone speak

A ghost in the senses
Haunted by the dawn of an original thought

Shaping The Future

Some people claim, though I doubt it is true
What's to come we can meaningfully alter
Precisely just what  any person can do
Is, doubtless, to try and then falter

But are future events different from the past
In terms of changing them much?
Whenever things happen, we're often aghast
Are we really then controlling such?

If we do not know how it all will turn out
How can we plan with precision?
If we don't know what the next chapter's about
Is it ever anyone's decision?

To argue that will, the free-doing kind
Can ever make exact designs
Is really a bit to be out of one's mind
It would seem to fate we must consign

How can we react to what we can't see?
The future is assuredly that
So planning is like being adrift at sea
And pretending the surface is flat

With the best of intentions, we fail time and again
There is only chance as our guide
Beset on all sides by accidents, then
It would seem it is only a ride

an ancient one, but it came to mind today:

Speak no ill of the living,
Give not praise for the dead,
For its better to be love than forgiving,
It's better to love first instead.

I just posted this on facebook, and thought I'd share it here.

I've always associated this song with the Afterlife. Sort of lost in an endless atmosphere of one of God's lesser known planets. I like to imagine we're all dead, floating through the sunlit clouds as it sets for the first and last time, the alpha and omega sunset God prepared for us, all of us, as we acknowledge eternity with a calm, clear inner peace and the inescapability of each other. Perhaps to find it was just the light at the end of the tunnel, where we enter God's vast wilderness once and for all, having never left. Someone familiar opens the door of the cottage in the wavering peaceful dark, because we all know each other. A fire burns in all our eyes. A mythical deepness, a shallow sacred retina that blinks inner peace and our own vast horizons with the setting sun of our hydrogen fused hearts. The place is so beautiful I just want to lie down and die again, and you feel you are also left with little choice. So come chill beside me...

---

the song is Blue Calx by Aphex Twin
