Bark upon the belaboring day Mordently, back and forth A lonely neighbors whim & play
Need another bite to eat, to slay another minstrels May.
Senseless on the bracken, lay See the passengers astray Wondering like a movement scored
Teeth chattering another tune, as I sit in morning June.
Miscellany like cheap photographs Soon they'll realise In round about ways, all the lies
And rages against tides that can't be beaten, this new July in season.
Sightless above the stars With reasoned imagination Darting left and right, with endless fascination
Wind against the olive branch, a snake dangling in August drench.

you start from the beginning, which ever grows long, and you reach from future to past, but remaining 'in the pocket', as it were, and you see where we all welcome communication as our sole endeavor, and recording our sole purpose. we connect through art, through poetry, through music, through philosophy, through the passions, and drama, an History to wrong from unright, forever bold and brash, and thus as ever olde.

The Other Self
We find a holiness In the being of the other Reared corruptively Our inner peace is hollow
Indeed, birth spacing Then early weaning Then sibling rivalry Refusing to grow
The other self The self and other Imbuing fantasy Incipient sexuality
Paradox Places ecstasy In diffusion The blazing, holy environment
With balance Romance is a phantasm Dissolved ecstatically in the other The ego's love drives us (crazy)
A species of pathology? Would one go that far? All I know of it Is that there was a harmony
When paradox finds self In evenness with other selves Verticality is impossible And we live as man was meant to live

A trump ta rum
Oh there ran, a wobbly tangerine,
For a little fun,
His wife he commanded, palm right up the skirt,
A rumpy pumped up trump, punched the solid air,
He swished around his fringe,
Squealing "Baby I don't care"
His wife is an immigrant who he'll have to jail,
----------or maybe not
Or could it be,
That the donald,
Is the same as you and me?
Who are obviously different,
Look at how your squinting,
Attempting understandings,
That are beyond your comprehension,
So lets see how it pans out, How many broken friendships.
How many bleeding bones,
The tombs are making place,
For four by four homes.
Forever in ignition.
Well...............
At least they had a vote.
The dawdling sheep and goats.

The Possible Future
What is your fancy? In time it could be anything Any old dear fantasy Father time quite soon shall bring
Whatever hallucination You seem to like the best Ours will be a nation Of any act at your behest
Select any reality Like the changing of a dial Whatever deep mentality Can grip you for awhile
The nearing Singularity Could wipe us out or not With such brutal temerity Mother Nature lets us rot?
On the other hand, utopia Technology makes real A virtual cornucopia Get high always -- with zeal
You see, what is really going down Is the infinite's arriving It starts to make soft sounds Soon locomotive driving
That's the final secret, I suppose Of all those old fraternities Anything is possible Jump on, and ride eternity

oh yeah, that's right.
but you know it's weird thinking about how you're gonna live a death. time becomes very permanent, and one's thoughts and well-being become very severe, when you do not betray any mercies.

Now but never. Yet somehow clever. Absolution certainties. Communal Absurdities.
Harmonious ohm vibrations. Self indulgent libations. Depreciating yet static. Implosion undramatic.
Ethereal zeal. Fools real. Apart can never sever. Together deluded forever.

There is something you should know
You have what it takes To throw it all out And push it all in
You might fear you ain't enough To break through And elevate yourself Above the breaking line
Just look inside yourself And you will find It's really not so bad And you don't have to be happy with being sad
Oh, I know these words sound arbitrary But come on now, don't you see? There's a world waiting Just to be lit by your light
Trust is all you need To flip it in on out Slip into your dream Crispy clean
The child you left behind Is crying Dying To play
It doesn't have to be dirty It doesn't have to be scary If you fear you might lose it Remind yourself of a summer morning
When the world didn't seem so grey
And you could feel the time, With a weight of nostalgia As it slipped From view
Once
when time seemed precious And was not taken for granted

Seen as lunatics these men who wanted to fly. Their minds warped and consumed by the lure of the sky. The spectacles were grand and thousands turned out. They laughed and jeered, flap harder they'd shout.
As time and souls were willingly consumed. The first glimmers of flight suddenly loomed. As trials and tribulations unveiled the keys. The hidden reasons why birds soar with such apparent ease.
The way that air flows over stiffend wings. The crucial ratios that makes them sing. The area it takes to lift and reasons why. These were the stepping stones to the unreachable skies.
So it began the age of heavier than air. With those previously crazy men, suddenly quite debonair. They refined their machines and techniques on the dunes. Now in front of the naysaying crowds the launched from balloons.
Soon the techniques allowed them to understand the dynamics. The way that air is a thing of fluid dramatics. The birds they had watched deeply understand it. That energy is plentiful, height their gambit.
There is a whole new awareness to be understood by gliding. Feeling and conceptualizing this new world that is otherwise hiding. It wasn't all that long ago the air was the domain of only birds. A new awakening of my senses and not a jeer to be heard.

Gnawing claims of righteousness. Murky puddles of thought. Deception enforced hastiness. Validity perpetually sought.
Surrounded by fabrications. Stuck fast by time. Elucidated machinations. Simple realities rhyme.
Scrawled existence only. Stage show unveiled. Fused yet lonely. Importance curtailed.

Just out of reach. Communal bliss. Targets of preach. Hit and miss.
Turned on each other. Hunger games. True freedom do smother. Imprinted sames.
Uprisings bubble. Nourished with hunger. Capital trouble. The cart sent asunder.
We have the tools. We are the fools. We missed the boat. We slit our throat.
Redress impossible. By measures of now. Total destruction. Unfathomable how.

AN ARCHITECTURE OF A SOLITUDE
I might see that place again The dwindling ruins of solitudinal inner-tecture, crashing down on the scraped insides of a smashed cathode ray Putty on the wall, nothing in there but an adhesive Televisions lost in their own gaze, static electric mind The lost face of a man without interest in speaking to you My stolen interests, my forgotten wounds My holy scriptures, my holy mountains I might see that place again
Into a void sung the pains, my feet unable to continue the dredge No one listened, not even an echo Why no one came, why no one left the confines of the boiling kingdom Not me, myself or I The speaking lies of Miss May and winter chills through the abysmal glare of nothing but freedom from love I consume the disaster I consume the wedding cake and together we are in matrimony, it tastes like sawdust, the dust coughing into my mouth
Night spoke of some other realm to lead the others I spoke back, but said nothing Just poised my lips ready to frighten away the dark hawks of lost thoughts I found them later singing alone
I might never see that place again

To what?
Turn on Tune in Drop out
That I can grok
But what does one drop out to? In all this time, no change What is a young one to do?
There is no something else Unless you want to be homeless Are there other ways to live? Or must we spend our lives dead
I dig the overthrow of old and evil Paradigms that have the planet in a vise But if one is looking for an alternative One need not go far -- there aren't any!
How do we live? You ask God Is there any other way? He listens silently with you And provides the only answer you'll ever need
It turns out you didn't need to ask Him There is only one thing that can be done And that is to do it, or not How much time is left?

Slippery tiller. Short strings. Progress killer. Pointless things.
Drop out. Decisions only. Self doubt. Society's lonely.
Grasp tighter. Wrest control. Problems lighter Focused soul.
Tune in. Pay attention. Realising sin. Understand reflection.
Turn on. Be light. Love shone. Always fight.
Don't base your outcomes on a false society's scale. Be content in the construct of your own mind and never fail.

Democracy
Lo! In early years, what chivalry Did soldiers and statesmen show There was an aura veritable An early republican glow
Continental Congresses A revolution won A splendid global victory For every mother's son
Yet even early, cracks did form From corruption's deadly vices Money young gained prominence To say 'twas ill suffices
And so, along, eventually The process promoted greed Citizen service impossible Each Rep. to his own need
So now, we have modern democracy The tradition of a federal republic It authorizes the public to attend to affairs For which perhaps they haven't the stomach
Or, indeed, the brains or will To carry out effective voting They'll authorize anyone at all Even upon them doting
The Hamiltons and Adamses Were right to be a bit wary The public, for its common good Should not be trusted very
So now we have unqualified men Who should not have such office Claiming that they have the fix And they're the rightful bosses
When in fact, they break all promises Acquainting themselves with the real Expediency has many guises In Washington, it's a deal
Look at what's happened to such an ideal A country with limitless promise Now it's dissolving, going away At least this poem is honest

They are a representation of us. We the collective. Visual reminders of societal pus. Only acting with our directive.
Endemic to the way we interact. Cruelty just beneath the surface. Under the guise of a communal pact. They're merely colouring in an image we trace.
Far easier to blame the elite. But it's really you and me aswell. We live as though we aren't complicit. Hurts to look around and see to us is their direct sell.
Shape shifting set ups. Democracy but a phase. Human these cock ups. Perpetually important haze.

That last one of yours DQ is impressive, I like the way you obviously have something to say and structure your poetry around it...easier said than done especially eloquently.
