Another question...first timer

so after 9 days... 20 jars using the PF tek... almost all the jars have spots of what i believe is myc. most of the jars that are closer to a source of heat seem to get spots.
does cobweb occur when the jars are in the inoculation stage? i only ask because my friend, who only looked up pictures after mentioning it, is convinced that is what occured.
we've had them sitting in a closet, inside of a rubbermade container. the spots are really relatively small. mostly dime-quarter size, for the exception of a couple spots on a couple of jars.
why could they be growing so slowly... they should be done, correct?
also, in the post I made on here when we were doing the set up, i found out a bit late that the jars should not be hot when injected. maybe 6-7 of them were rather warm/hot, i did not give them time to cool. it seems ALL of those, however, do in fact have spots. the ones I let cool longer are the ones that aren't really showing any spots.
1 jar has a big 'ol spot of trich, so we took that out... the rest seem fine... but are just going SO slow, it seems. i'm worried that they will all start growing trich if they are not covered in myc and dunked ASAP... should i be worried?
thanks!

if you have a top on your container, i'd atleast crack it to let the jars breath alittle bit..

several times ive opened it up and stuff, all the jars have holes drilled but not covered with tape, just some dry verm at the top.
should i use gloves when handling the jars while they're inoculating? when taking a peak, i havent had them out for long.
is it easy to get them contam'd once they're fruiting?
thanks

No! Depending on the age of the spores you are using it can take quiet a long time for them to germinate.
Not waiting for the jars to cool down can indeed prevent you from cultivating Cubes successfully. Cobweb is rather uncommon in jars, but does occur. The colonization speed of cobweb is very fast though. If you have the possibility, take some pics, and post them.
You don't want you lids covered, because the mycelium needs GE to grow. And you don't need to wear gloves.
What temperature are the jars in?

The temps are fine.
Time will show. Plenty of factors have an influence on how long it'll take. Just be patient.

haha, i would like to do that at some point too, but i figured id keep it simple first time around.
i have a relatively large rubbermaid container that i am going to shotgun... with a 6000k 10-foot LED strapped to the lid. it'll fit 20 jars no problem!

Where the fuck did you get a 10 foot LED? Lucky! I want one! cool cool.... I guess its not a big deal since you have sooo many cakes, but youd get sooooo much more! You dont need any thing fancy either..... just more containers and a lot of coir.... you can use just coir, or coir and a combo or different easly accessible items. i just think that id at least do 5-10 jars bulk.... leaving all 20 cakes is kinda a waste!

9 days, sounds right on schedule to me.Normally takes my jars about 35 days with MS to fully colonize.

What conditions are you growing in and what jar size do you use? 35 days is awfully long. With rather fresh spores, 1/2 BRF jars are done in 14 to 20 days.
