Have a small question about the goold ole creeper.. From everywhere that i read it says that the creeper is one of the high potency mushies in the Cubensis family. Is this really true or one of those nice marketing sceems.... ps.. Anyone know why its called creeper? The high creeps up on you? Just a thought

from my understanding, cubes are cubes. Grown under proper conditions they all should be pretty equal!
Grow them pf style on Brown rice.
or
Grow them on cow Poo with straw,,
and you should notice a potency difference!!!!
someone correct me if i'm wrong, cuz i'm also curious about this..

I believe it has been proven that some strains are more potent then others when grown under identical conditions. I know when I was growing ecuadors and penis envy, I had to take about 20-25 grams of fresh ecuador to get where I wanted. If I took 20 grams of fresh penis envy though I'd go beyond where I wanted to go. As far as creepers potency goes, I'm not sure, I'll tell you in a couple weeks when I harvest mine.

The creeper has some beautiful characteristics. Its a robust mushroom with some very agressive mycelium.

That hasn't been my experience at all. I have noticed potency and effect differences in strains of cubensis. Grow some Gulf Coast and Cambodians...then compare the two. Then grow some Acadian Coast and a Thai strain...then compare the two. Grow some Maz and F+ ....and compare them. To me comparing strains is like comparing apples and oranges. Then comparing different species is like comparing meat and potatoes.
The Keeper "Creeper" strain is a great strain. I have grown this out many times...one of my favorite strains to grow! Fast colonization, Nice beautiful fruits and a very interesting trip.

It's a very Creepy type of trip...very different for sure. Creepy is the best way I can describe it.

ahhhh... I love hearing that the Creeprers are excellente, cause I got some jars colonizing right now! They are very fast, faster than even the allen I believe. I was hoping that the "high potency" reports that the creeper claims had some truth to them!

I've had zero visuals with the Creeper, laughed my ass off for 5 hours on them. But I've only tried them twice.

A guy I know has creepers growing and was wondering the same thing. They are amazingly fast, BRF jars fully colonized in 10-12 days and fully colonized a shoe box of compost (cow poo and compost mix) in less than 7 days. He cased last night and expects to put them in the fruiting chamber in a day or too. We should revisit this potency thread when we have all experimented with creeper to see if there is a consensus as to the potency.

Alkaloid analysis by Stivje and DeMeijer in 1993 demonstrated that different cubensis spore-races grown under the same conditions had a significant variation in alkaliod maxima - as in some were more potent by a considerable measure than others.
