Not only does it feel weaker, but it has a greater peripheral effect (raised blood pressure, higher heart rate and increased body temp), much more so than Dexedrine. Also I've noticed that the crash is quite a bit nastier too.
After a 3 day binge on Adderall I was literally tripping out, seeing spider webs EVERYWHERE and hearing strange noises that sounded like people were whispering outside of my room and house. Also the shadow people were CRAZY!
It felt much worse than a 5 1/2 day binge on Dexedrine. After that I simply passed out and woke up 12 hours later feeling tired as hell.

Imagine being addicted to it for 2 years and eating through a month script in about a week. You will not believe how lethargic the withdrawal can make you.

Damn thats really getting into them.
I may take them for extended periods, but I've always just stop after a while.
I enjoy them moderately. What I don't like is that being sketched out feeling after extended use in more than recommended doses.
Plus, I can't imagine paying for them.

I got 90-120 15mg spansules for like $15 a month. And yeah, after about half a year of using them responsibly they got a hold of me big time.
I've been clean from that shit for more than 3 years. And I gained about 70 pounds, lol.

A part of me still misses the days of having a huge supply of speed. But most of me does not miss the negative effects it brought upon me. It's like people that have access to large supplies of cheap opiates. It's FANTASTIC at first, but after a while it comes at a huge cost.

i've been going through the process to get an adderall script for the past few months. just tried strattera, and the doc says if this doesn't work he will put me on speed. i really would like the script, but now you've got me worried

No its all gravy.
Speed is good. Just don't depend on it all the time, or overly abuse it and you will be fine.
They put my girl on that shit at first too, she didn't want it, and next appointment they bumped her into Ritalin(which really sucks, at least for me, energy, but no focus).
Next apt, she complains, now she has addies, IR's and ER's.
Dexs though is the best. I really enjoy the hell out of them.
