Based on the look, say you contam or bruised pan myc on the LC?

I inoculated this LC with a piece of pan cyan agar wedge about a month ago. It seems to be going okay - except for the fact it is lagging in growth. A few days ago I turned off the magnetic stirrer to see if the mycelium will float to the top like Agar mentioned in his post about the "pancake" that forms near the top where the mycelium will begin to congregate for the fresh air once stirring has ceased (agar's "pancake").
In another one of his post (of the same caliber), Agar mentioned that if the stuff that's floating at the top is blue or black you can bet it's contamination. But i'm not sure if the stuff i got is contam (although it is a bit blue), because it might be panaeolus showing its tendency to bruise while in its mycelium phase. IDK what's your call?
Anyway, I stopped stirring and this is what I got after a few days:

Thanks for viewing! I would appreciate an input on my behalf and for the behalf of the rest of the shroomery team!

although i would like to vouch for at least half of that stuff being actual mycelium, i must not have followed proper sterile procedures during inoculation. oh well, next time maybe i'll brush up on agar with the whole strain isolation business before foraying to that more sensitive LC business... (tsk-tsk)
however, i will let this lc continue in its development to see where it's headed.
so nebody else? bruised pan cyan mycelium? or penecillium spp like solumvita believes?

I'd say just inoculate one or two jars and see what will happen. It is not easy to spot a contam in LC.

If there is something floating in your lc it is contamed. Looks like pretty cool growth but certainly a contam.

I have no experience with panaeolus cultivation (at all) but I would hesitate to call it contaminated until the colonies floating on top have merged into larger, obviously green or greenish-blue colonies. If it is a contam, this should happen relatively quickly. Some spots on the top of your lc, however, are showing growth patterns much more common in mushroom mycelia than in penicillium.
