Well, I bought a bargain basement pressure cooker and used it successfully, and yours sounds similar in terms of quality so maybe this will help.  Mine is made by Jasi...it's a basic 6 liter cooker with no pressure gauge whatsover.  First, you put your jars into the cooker (mine holds two layers of four each, for a total of eight jars) and add water so that the bottom layer of jars is about one third to one half submerged.  Some people recommend putting a towel underneath the jars to avoid direct heat...I didn't and it worked fine.  You seal up the cooker and turn the element on full blast.  Shortly thereafter, steam should be shooting out of the pressure regulator (likely one of the holes you were speaking of, but in my case it's a little doohickey that is perched on top of one of the holes).  When you see a steady flume of steam, turn the heat down to a very low level.  My stove has 10 settings...I put it on 3.  The reduction in heat should cause the pressure regulator doohickey to lower, sealing the cooker and creating pressure.  After awhile, you'll
see intermittant bursts of steam spewing from the regulator.  My manual said that the internal pressure could be estimated based on how many times per minute steam is released...for my particular cooker 3 steam releases per minute equals roughly 15psi, though this may vary with yours.  Keep in mind these steam bursts are LOUD...not at all unlike the sound of a rattlesnake being run over by a transport truck.  I thought I'd be all stealthy and sterilize my jars at night so my roomates would be none the wiser...well guess what they all know something is up now  .  After about 45 minutes you should be good to go.

Try doing a search for what you have on one of the popular search engines available.

Viking: You have one of those jasi pc's? Have you sterilized grain in it or just pf jars? I recently bought one but have not used it yet and I was just wondering if they are adequate for grain.

bump!!! does anyone know if some common pc instructions exist... i seriosly want to learn something about pc's before i use them...

i checked WearEver's site but did not find information that i'm looking for... couse anyone also help me understand how the psi measure works... i'll try to explain it as simple as i can... there is a little metal circular metal peace, with 3 holes on on the sides.. each hole has different measurements... and under each hole there is a number 5 10 15, i asume those are preassure measurements... so now here is the question do i put the metal peace on the little whitle like thing in the middle of the lid? or what? and how do i make sure i don't blow up the house?

I belive you would turn the dial if that is what it is so that the number you want is either  the top side or the down side. Try it and see how much steen comes out of it. More steam  less pressure  less steam more pressure.

I used mine for simple BRF cakes, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work with grain. Mine is tall enough to accomidate quart jars.

Hmm...
You could write an email to the manufacturer.

Can you turn on that knob?

There there is plenty of information on this site:
