Freezing Spores?
    #1199917 - 01/08/03 05:57 AM (13 years, 8 months ago)

I want to order some spores through the mail, but it is the middle of the winter. So I figure they would probably freeze. Does anyone know if that would kill the spores? I don't want to wait until spring to get the spores.

There has been several posts on this already this week.

I won't name names...but someone froze a syringe to test if they were viable after freezing for a few days.
Results were...they worked.

Funny, but there was just a post yesterday about this.

Some guy said he recieved a frozen spore syringe w/o any problems in growth. I dont think it would have an effect on them either. As long as they didn't get really hot they are probably fine.
