Snow Finishes my season :(

Ah well 4" of snow this morning and still falling.
So unless i go hunting with a blow tourch,it's over for
now :frown:

Still looking forward to spring,maybe i could start labeling the
the 500+ pictures ive taken in the last month.

Hope your seasons go on longer :smile:

It's the same here. I found small mushroom pins that could be Flamullina on a stump few days ago and now they got covevered by snow. :frown:

Flammulina are known to be able to grow even after they were frozen.

yes, i remember buying these mushrooms when in Hong Kong & in China
-We had the bought mushrooms stored inside a small refrigerator and the mushrooms in the carton had doubled in size within a week,
Very vigorous mushrooms

They kept growing a substantial amount after being harvested

Yep your right anno :smile: snow melted today and the
enoki are still on the trees and still growing :smile: some
have gone to black mush but many more sheltered
ones are still pinning and growing

Also the wood ears Auricularia auricula seem unaffected.
The ground has turned to mush though :frown: so eyes up :smile:
