Striving for a life of silence over noise

If you could easily relate to, identify with, and converse with the majority of the population/masses, basically the complete opposite of a complete social outcast, would you choose this over a life of living mostly in silence (e.g. regularly attending Vipassana retreats, meditating hours a day, solo meditative hiking in nature, having a career where you can work in silence), would you? which would you choose, and why?
It's either one or the other, noise or silence, no in between.

Your question doesn't make sense.

I'd take a little of both.

Make some sense of it then. Read it multiple times until it clicks in. If it doesn't, I understand. Most people would probably find it difficult understanding the intent of the message.

You guys are no fun and you're missing the point. I'll take the silence over the noise any day if it's one or the other.

Can a person still fart in silence or would that be a life of noise?

Noise, he said complete silence. No walking around or anything.

I'd choose conversing with people over silence.
I contemplated running away to a monastery years ago... but in the end, you learn so much about the world through talking with others. Even when I'm not in conversation, I learn so much just listening to others talk in cafes/coffee shops/streets, etc.
I'd have to have at least a half hour to myself a day though, or I'd go insane.
But in the end, let's say you achieve total bliss/love with the universe. Wouldn't do humanity much good if you were totally secluded.. and right now, humanity needs people that would even contemplate silence for that half hour, methinks
Although, assuming we are all One, I guess you would affect the world through prayer/thought forms. It'd just be boring

You believe you are a social animal, yet this belief is derived from a process that is misunderstood by many, and your definition of social is limited.
Being social does not have to involve converting meaning into words and sharing them with others. Sharing meaning between one another is not limited to conveying words.
When we were first on this earth, and the words we have today did not exist, we were still social, though it was a different kind of social. This is what I'm trying to get at.
Attend a vipassana retreat to understand what I mean.
Also, for all you jokers, I said living mostly in silence. You can still fart.
"Silence doesn't benefit us"
Silence doesn't benefit you. How do you know it doesn't benefit me, or others?

Language is simply another way to connect. Why don't you just ignore the trivial chit chat and only discuss topics that interest you?
Are people failures because they don't want to bond themselves into silence? You may want to find more understanding, humility, and love in your life before taking on such a lifechanging commitment.

NOIZEEEEEEE
Benefits of noise: concerts, sex is cooler, alarms (aka you will not die as easily)
If everyone was deaf i predict there would be a LOT of accidental deaths

I challenge you to find silence, not merely the absence of talking.

Do I have to attend a vippysawna retreat to understand what you're getting at?
Wouldn't it just be easier to explain what a vippysawna retreat is like?
