I'm craving a sandwich right now, but I'm not a creative person when it comes to meals. Plus I'm mildly picky about food. Anyway, whats your favorite sandwich? and/or What kind of sandwich should I make?
Heres a list of available...
Ingredients:
Whole Wheat Bread
Meats Chicken Peperoni Sausage Ground Beef Bacon Ham Meatballs
Cheeses American Provolone (not a big fan of prov myself though) Mozzarella (brick form, so either hand sliced or shedded) Cheddar (Shredded) Monterey Jack (Shredded)
Other Lettuce Tomato Common Spices Most Dressings/Condiments
So What do you make when you want a crazy sandwich?/What would you make for me using my kitchen?

I like sliced cheddar and tomato with Mayo. Or you could just go nuts and make a crazy double decker thang. Ham and peperoni would be nice with some lettuce.
This is making me want a sandwich, but 21:40 is too late for a beasty sandwich.

Very true, but I already made myself my signature sandwich, a good ole' grilled cheese. Its just not what I'm looking for; I need to make a crazy ass sandwich. I guess this wasn't very clear in my OP. I'm looking for a multi-layered, mega-wich with the works on it. The real question was whats the best combo of meats cheeses and condiments that wouldn't taste awful together.
Edit: @Pmb Ground beef and mayo is creative, maybe that will make it in.
@Mongo I'm definitely going for the "double decker thang!"

Put in your ham, pepperoni, Sausage and bacon. Then whack in yor favourite cheese, with all the salad stuff, some mustard and whatever other condiments you like. Repeat for as many layers as you like and wait for the to begin.

Melt 1 stick of butter together with 2 tbs mustard, 2 tbs poppy seed and one onion chopped fine. Layer ham and swiss cheese on a hoagie roll or other gormet/fench bread and pour the some of the dressing over the meat and cheese. top it with the other half of the bread, wrap them in foil and bake them for 30 minutes at 350.

if the chicken is uncooked, boneless breasts, split the breasts and pound them flat, a little over 1/8" thick between a couple layers of plastic wrap, dredge them in seasoned read crumbs and grated parmesan cheese and saute in butter over medium high heat, make sure the pan is hot before adding the butter.
shred the mozzarella, top the sauted breast and pop it in the broiler for a couple minutes to melt, toss on the bacon, lettuce. tomato and condiments, you can also add a little of the pepperoni for some contrasting flavor

You have bacon, do you have smooth peanut butter and a banana?
You can make an Elvis Presley:
Start frying the bacon in a pan smear one slice of bread w/ smooth peanut butter smash up the banana and smear that on the other slice once the bacon is done, place it on one slice and squeeze the two slices together press the edges down place in frying pan (hopefully there is still some bacon grease in there) fry on one side for 2 minutes then flip and fry the other side or two minutes eat develop angina

Damn, lots of good ideas; I'll be bookmarking this thread for future munchies.
I ended up going with something like:
Quote:

But, I was out of ham so I used meatball chunks instead. Went double decker, cheddar on top, american cheese bottom. Just lettuce (I hate tomatos) and I didn't use any sauces because the meatballs were in tomato sauce, so I just added a little bit of that to the middle piece of bread. Overall good, but I have once again been taught that super sandwiches are 10x more work and don't taste much better than a standard one.
I think next time the urge strikes, I'll try the pumpernickle bagel, but maybe with a different meat.
