It looks a bit like an old gnarly Agaricus sp., but I am likely wrong on that.
It also looks kind of like Lepiota sp., but I am probably wrong on that as well.
That gill color throws me off.
Cool mushroom regardless....

Probably Chlorophyllum, check the spore print color.

You can throw it away. It's neither magic, nor edible.

Macrolepiota is another possibility.

Even if it wasn't dried it looks way too old and water logged to render a spore print. I think we can almost certainly say that the spores are white.

Oh, is that what you do with "useless" mushrooms??

Precisely.
@Curecat> You might collect random mushrooms and then leave them sitting around dried in all sort of areas of your place. Other (as in "normal") people don't usually show that sort of behavior. People like the OP in all likelihood don't usually keep random mushrooms around unless they are of some sort of use to them, like making them trip or becoming part of a meal.

I'm normal and I have herbarium specimen from non-active or inedible mushrooms saved around my home...
Some of us are more into mycology than eating or tripping. I don't trip anymore, and don't eat food mushrooms all that often, but will always love to study them.
