Questions about hunting in British Columbia...

OK, everybody says when you should go hunting for shrooms is in the fall after it rains, and then after the first frost most of the shrooms die. But this info came from the same people who told me purple shrooms = more potent. What's the truth?!?

There are 10 or so hunter from the PNW states (Close enough to you) that frequent this site.on a regular basis....so I wont say too much. But all I know is that your time of year is in the fall (Sept-Nov )...and yes you need rainy conditions as well as the proper grounds like eithe pastures or wooded/mulchy area....thats all Ill say, the pros can help you more....good luck

Not sure how much colder it is in BC than it is here in Seattle but they are pretty hardy and survived the frost we had and are now still poppin up everywhere here.

What species do you still have growing? The temp around here right now (and I mean at this moment) is at 46F, how does that compare to you?
