Refers to mixing a certain ratio of hydrogen peroxide to water, then letting your cake sit submersed in the solution for a certain amount of time. Usually 12 - 24 hours. This helps to rehydrate the cake, and usually results in healthier and larger flushes.

When you dunk your cakes, instead of using straight H2O, you should use H2O mixed with H2O2(hydrogen peroxide) to minimize the risk of contams.

Nooo!!! Don't use rubbing alcohol at all! It IS hydrogen peroxide, not rubbing alcohol. Rubbing alcohol will kill the mycelium.
