My jokes are usually lame and nonsensical. :lame:

You can actually tell when a moderator has been in contact with OC, just wait to see loads of trash threads & you know someones had their bottom spanked

Really? How do you know this?

Interesting that exposing fake 'mystics' is crap, but claiming there are 'real' ones with no solid evidence is somehow positive.

Whatever.

Im all for exposing fake gurus
I just feel that some are fake, but some are the real deal
You seem to think they are all fakes

The impression i get from your posts is that 'heres a fake guru' and that perhaps you think that one fake guru somehow debunks thousands of years of human spirituality

Actually sorry, you've obviously come across alot more than just the one fake guru... fair enough

I haven't met them all.

People got pissed when I called Rajneesh a fake - until he proved it.

People got pissed when I called Sri Chimnoy a fake - until he proved it.

People got pissed when I called Jim Jones a fake - until he proved it.

I believed in Swami Kriyananda - until he proved otherwise.

The most famous Swami in India who started the Ganesh milk-drinking 'miracle' was convicted of fraud (no name handy) a few years ago.

I was neutral about Muktunanda - until he showed his true colors.

I had an acquaintance die in the Heaven's Gate Cult. To him I was a close-minded skeptic. Now he is worm food.

Not to mention all of the famous Christian preachers that have fallen hard.

No, a false one doesn't prove there are no real ones, but all of the above were pointed at by thousands, if not millions, as 'real' ones.

Your being convinced there is a real one means nothing to me. All of the other devotees were as convinced as you are. So what?

Shroud of Turin, Lourdes miracles, etc. all nonsense, but you call my stance BS? Can you point to something solid to counter?

Thousands of years of spirituality to me means thousands of years of gullibility, superstition and deception. Length of time of ignorance and stupidity does not impress me.

To restate once again because the likes of Chronic fail to get it.

I took heat (no pun intended) on 'The Secret' from alleged spiritual types and bashed Ray ONE DAY BEFORE THE SWEAT LODGE DEATHS. Am I a fucking psychic genius or perhaps I have seen the same pattern a hundred times?

Probably the former. :yesnod:
