I worked with Gulf Coast for quite awhile... it was a body type of trip with ripple type visuals... more speedy than anything else. I went for a hike on these a few times and they gave me alot of energy. One hike was during a snow storm...that was pretty cool.
The Cambodian are one of my favorite strains... Very colorful and lots of morphing... almost Acid like effects. I did 11 dry grams of Cambodians once... and it got pretty damn weird!~
I can't remember the PESA's... I only did them once...many years ago. Sorry!~
Never have tried the Colorado.

I have a question for RR about his Redboy strain. I bought a syringe from Ralphster about 2-3 months ago. I grew them 3 different times. No doubt they grew beautifully, but none of the specimens I printed released red spores, just purple/black. I asked Ralph about this and he said sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. What's the real story? Did I get the right strain?

And... I have a question about the Lizard King strain. I keep seeing it in the print trade thread, but I couldn't find any info on it. Can someone please give some info on it?

I released the redboy 2 years ago, so it's been completely out of my control since then. It was a cross between the original 20 year old redboy spores and PR. Caps need to be selected for the red trait for perpetuating the characteristics of the original. When I released it, I had done two crosses back to the original, resulting in a 75% pure redboy. However, since that time, who knows what's been printed? The prints I sent out to people, by all reports produced fruits that were extremely potent. The ones I had sampled proved to be as well. RR

Since every specimen I've printed was purple/black, do you think it's still possible to get a red print somewhere down the line? If I do get one, if I use that print to grow, will that flush be more likely to be red?

@ Geko
Guess you've seen the strain offered by me. I've never seen it on the shroomery so I can't really tell you anything about it except the facts I've experienced myself.
About the "Lizard King"
What i can say about it is that it's mycelium growth is extremely fast and medium rhizomorph. Compared to the strains I've grown so far it has the fastest myc growth which seems to be quiet resistant (but I guess it's mostly the same). Anyway... what can I say about the fruits? The fruiting is quiet prolific. It grows fast and quiet nicely shaped. It's fruits are mostly slender with a hollow stem and caps that aren't too big. The veils are pretty thin and separate from the cap in one peace most of the time but almost disappear after a day due to their thin consistency. It's printing qualities are excellent!
What appeared to me very positively is the fact that this strain seems to flush forever. Though the fruits keep getting smaller with every flush it has an excellent potential in producing up to about 8 flushes. Maybe... Right now flush number seven is growing on five of my cakes. I can't say anything about the potency of it, I've never tried it.
Guess that's anything I can say about it right now. I like it
here are some pics

This one was the biggest I've grown

Some Casing pics:

That's it...

Thanks a lot for the information and for the wonderful pictures! This strain looks a little different from what I've seen so far... the tall fruits and somewhat little caps... there is something witchy in these shrooms. You should definitely try them

Hey Magician26, if you ever happen to see this message, do you suppose I could trouble you to p.m. me the title of whatever your avatar is from?
And by the way, this is an awesome thread. I'd been thinking about going with Koh Sumie next time and for one reason or another, this thread just confirmed it for me. Thanks!

Pink Buffalos are great IMHO and pretty strong for a cube.
I find these to have strong visuals and body highs/sensations.
Of the three strains I have grown and tested (Pink Buffalo, PES Hawaiian, Blue Meanie [cube species]), Pink Buffalos are my favorite (although if I want a strong/spiritual head trip, I'll eat the Hawaiians.)

I never really considered the fact that different strains of cubensis may have different style trips. Thats really neat. I wish I could get my hands on some spores.
Does anyone have any info on Panealus Cyanescens as to its potency and style of the trip.

What I heard and experienced:
Panaeolus Cyanescens is the strongest mushroom when eaten fresh due to it's enormous content of Psilocin which vanishes time after time for it's not oxygen consistent. Still it's VERY powerful when eaten dried. The trips are told to be extremely visual which pretty much is what I experienced after eating it. It's potency is said to be about 2.5 times higher than the potency of the Psilocybe Cubensis species. So for a nice lever 3 trip you'd just have to eat about 1 gram.
Like I said: That's what I heard and experienced.
I hope I could help you a little

Yea, I've been working 18+ hours per day trying to get my cultivation dvd finished, so my time is very limited. I have my all mine and even mrs rabbits phones turned off so they won't ring while I'm recording. Sorry roadz, I'll call ya later.
Stroph, pm me an addy and I'll send you one of the few 1st generation redboy prints I still have left. They're purple-red, not red like a fire engine. It's almost a lavender color. They're just not the dark purple-black that is common. Another trait of Redboy is that it bruises green where damaged instead of blue.
Below is a pic of the 1'st generation Redboy prints. Perhaps 'red' isn't the best name, but I didn't name them. They were the name on the original 20 year old spores I revived by crossing with PR strain, so they're obviously not as red as the original, but still not the ordinary. RR
