do you mean in structure/physical traits or in quality? im guessing you mean in the way they make you feel. i wouldnt know because ive never tried either one. but ill take your word for it. sounds good to me. hopefully in the future i can verify this.

I meant in feeling mostly. But i've noticed that higher concentrations of psilocin gives a very different kind of trip. That's why some prefer pan cyans or azures compared to cubensis.

Hey everyone whats good this evening?? I have had this strain inoculating for a week, not really much progress. I see white on the jars and no discolorization. I feel impatient, like I should be seeing more. its been about 80 humidity level. HaHa. I guess after week number 2 Ill hope for better. Feedback on this strain guys!

have a 10cc syringe of "Stargazer" spores and 2 10cc syringes of PES Hawaiian spores. I am planning to use pre-sterilized jars already prepared with substrate and ready to use. I have 12 medium sized jars. Does anyone have any experience with these two species? I know a little more about the Hawaiian, but don't know a lot about Stargazers. Can anyone tell me how long it should take to see my first flush? Any tips on how big of a yield to expect from one 10cc syringe? How many jars would you inoculate with one 10cc syringe? Any other advice on growing would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

just one question. From what i understand, cubes are basically the regs of the mushrooms world if you were comparing them to weed. So i'm wondering, whats the crippy/purple haze of the mushroom world? Cyanescans?

Yield is a function of the substrate's total nutrient supply and the quality of care you put into your grow (namely keeping it hydrated between flushes). Strain does not affect total yield. Fruit size is mostly just about growing trophy shrooms. Sure, they're pretty, but good pinsets are what you should really be after (you and everyone else in this thread).
I find that my favorite B+ lines are great pinners, slow colonizers, and produce moderate-to-large fruits, but I've also grown B+ that seemed to flounder, even in the same FC. Strain is fine to think about, but it's not going to make or break your grow. Just go with something "proven" (B+, EQ, TX, GT, whatever) and work on perfecting your technique.

figgus gives us some reasonable insight. i like that answer. its tough picking a strain to go w/. my take on it is pick a few popular strains, pick a simple tek, try two batches either side by side or one after the other and try to keep the variables down to a minimum. next try some new things, experiment, but gradually and just figure out what works best for you. evryone seems to have their own favorite things that they like. its like developing a style.

I was roaming The Hawk's Eye site and I stumbled across his prices and ordering page. The strains have links to some nice pics and background info. I for one love lookin at pics so I thot I'd let you folks here know about it. http://www.thehawkseye.com/ Click 'mushroom spores' on the left menu. And you will see the whole list of his stock. Click on a strain to go to its details. Enjoy
ps. remember, if you can't decide on a strain, pick one at random, you will surely enjoy it regardless (unless through the small chance of multispore inoculation you get a crappy substrain, but w.e lol)

I wanted to pick 10 strains at Ralphster's, and was going through the descriptions. Here's what I've decided on.
Thai - Lipa Yai Thai - Koh Samui PESA - Pacifica Exotica Spora Amazon Gulf Coast Amazon Cambodian Brazilian Orrisa India Hawaiian Palenque - Mexico
Other than how they look and grow, is there really a big difference in strains. Is only potency affected, or do seperate strains provide a different buzz altogether?
My assumption would be that Psylocin = Psylocin, and than only potency would be the difference. But I thought I'd ask the experts =)
His S.O.T.M is(Ecuador) so I'd also get one of those.
