What strain fits these criteria? I'm looking for the perfect strain(for me) [Re: fungitobewith]

From pictures I've seen, Malabar looks like a strain that produces a high number of shrooms packed very close together. I am looking for a strain that displays consistent shape and size combined with large heads and potentcy. The only problem that I have with Malabar is that it does better in very high temps.
Are there any other cubensis strains that procude such dense growth? What do you suggest?
Basically, the criteria I am looking for in a strain are: a)dense growth b)potentcy c)colonize/grow well in lower temps. d)ability to grow in small spaces. e)easy caretaking and heartiness

I realize that all the pics on vendor sites, particularly "the little guy" may be ideal situations. still, the malabar looks to be extremely dense compared to the rest. Maz looks very dense too though. Any info on these would be good.
What techniques are used to raise the temp and humidity?

1.Pesa or Amazon? Please compare these. I know they both do well in cooler temps, that is the main reason I have narrowed it down to these two. 2.Others that do well in cool temps? 3.How many jars can two 10cc syringes inoculate? Your input helps, thanks!

I don't see the two for one deal? Haven't heard about discounts from shroomery either. How?
Edit->I was thinking of ordering from ralphs and getting his free strain of the month for my second syringe.

Since Chilean and Ecuador are both mountainous I would think they would have lower temp climates. And then again, brazil has plains which are not as hot as some areas. Of course, i don't know exactly which region each strain came from. PESA and Amazon are the only two that I have read of the are specifically suited for low temps. Are the others equally suitable for low temps?

I've never seen "oh canada" for sale. Where can it be found?
EDIT: "The 'Oh Canada' is a cold-loving strain from the SporeLab. It is perfect for those who wish to create their own outdoor plot in area's where cubensis do not grow naturally. The spore's were collected from healthy specimens which fruited in temp. just above freezing. It is a long-term project which ideally consists of starting an outdoor plot in the spring with mycellium, compost and straw. Over the summer, the plot will establish itself and should fruit in the fall when Mother Nature creates the right conditions.
More info can be found on the Sporelab website.

This thread sucks, nothing ever gets discussed thoroughly with the subject changing every other post. Then when you start a new thread elsewhere it gets deleted b/c it should be in the strain thread, wtf?

I understand that a lot of strain threads are opened and this may be the only way to stop that. While it stops endless threads, it makes it really hard to find info and answers to specific questions. If you take the time to read through this entire thread a bunch of it is mumbo jumbo and you might find a little info on the strain you were thinking about. On pg two, theres some good info, but then again, its copied from a spore vendor web site. I would rather hear feedback from individuals rather than from spore vendors who endorse any strain to try to get some business. Seriously, if you read the descriptions on vendor sites, they build them up like every strain is the shit. Personally, I'm a fan of lots of threads on a forum. If I scroll through and don't like the title of something, I choose to not respond to it and stupid questions don't bother me a bit. In fact, it adds diversity and I like to be able to choose from many different topics to discuss. my two cents

Just a suggestion, but you could start like three threads for each 1.North & South America 2.Europe & Asia 3.Africa & Australia +Miscellaneous Category
Or they could be divided into 1.Most Popular 2.Up and coming 3.Novelty strains +Miscellaneous Category
Or various other ways. I think any division would be beneficial.
