In the esssence of strains and strain conversation, the best I have tried yet is PE6, by our very own Roger. They are very different to other cubensis strains I've tried so far, while all the others tend to be quite similar - this one stands out with distinct differences....
The stems are rather 'woody' and the caps quite dark, heavy heavy spore dropper and picture perfect specimens. Very weighty, and extremely potent - they almost drip blue after you handle them, and this is consistent for em over many trials in different growing parameters.
Working with a clone of this has given me my best results to date -

They are New Zealand Pouch Fungi - search the hunting forum for that and you will find some interesting posts on them....
Weraroa novae zelandiae is the correct name for them, here are the first two posts that came up with a search of "Pouch Fungi" in the hunting forum -
HERE and HERE .
Enjoy...

Never had the pleasure of trying them mate - we dont get em in West Oz...

Have a look at the stem colour - azures have a snow white stem and a 'flying saucer' shaped cap, where as a subaeruginosa has a dirty white stem and can often have a wavy cap.
Subs look a lot more like P. cyanecens than anything else.

You almost definitely wont find any cubensis in NZ, its just too cold there and too dry in the warmer months.
Yes you can find them in Aus, they are prolific in Northern New South Wales and Queensland from roughly October through to March.

PE6 are my favourite so far - potent, solid fruiter and very hardy and fast.
And can grow big....

www.sporeworks.com is by far and away the only company I could ever recommend, full stop, no questions asked.

Really? They appear to have a shit range, un-professional site, and not even a link to the shroomery in their links section. Each to their own I guess, and you get what you pay for.

What business on the face of this planet DOESNT want traffic? And the shroomery only supports quality vendors, thats probably the reason there's no link.
Don't get me wrong, they may have great deals and send you 'free shit' - but their range seems rubbish, and their site unprofessional.
I'm just going by comparing these things to other vendors sites, range and guarantees - I know what my natural choice is.

Brazilian- fast colonizer contam resistant Burma- very fast colonizer Koh Samui Super Strain- fast colonize contam resistant not strong flush though Mexican Cube- fast colonize with high yield.....my pick so far South America- quick colonize large fruits
all information was gathered from http://mushroomwiki.com/wiki-1.8.2/mediawiki-1.8.2/index.php?title=Strain#Mazatapec
so if you could only pick one in which you wanted to grow a whole bunch in a little time.....taking into consideration that all aspects of growing will be met adequetly.
Thank You
You can't honestly expect an answer to this question though?
