The problem is that the vendors themselves often get it wrong, or im sure, just make that crap up.
Firstly PESA and PES Amazonian are completely different strains of cubensis offered by PES originally. PESA got the 'A' added due to some ridiculous connection with Psilocybe azurescens - which is a lignious Psilocybe quite different to coprophilus cubensis.
Secondly your list of potency from cubensis is questionable given the amazing amount of variables involved. It is a list Im assume is made from what the vendors have to say. Id say that the main sporeraces of cubensis ive found to be more potent than average would be those that have been poorly domesticated and thus are prone to producing strange stocky fruits or mutations. Puerto Ricans, Argentineans are a few examples, but its not always true. I also found Cambos, PES Amazonians and Tasmanians to be the moer potent cubensis i tried when grown on millet.
Ofcourse is comes down to the genetics of your spore match - it may be poor or great - if its poor people are making the assumption that every isolate from that strain is also poor and posting this info, when it may not be true (unless ofcourse its PF, Gulf Coast, Treasure Coast or some other rubbish strain that ive grown better from wild prints and isolation than from various sourced prints of these three).
Lastly, there is no way in a million years that anyone has found cubensis fruiting wild in Tasmania - its not possible - it is the same distance from the equator as North Dakota and Montana so you can imagine how inappropriate the climate in Tasmania is.
QAnd if you read the descriptions of this strain from spore works and then from THE they are so different that its laughable.
Anyway - happy shrooming!
