brf transfer question

Hey everyone.
I am going to be breaking up my cakes and transferring to a bulk substrate. Do i need to dunk before i break up my cakes into nickel pieces in a ziplock bag?

It's not necessary, the new substrate you are transferring to will have enough moisture to sustain a healthy flush.

I am not actually going to transfer to a substrate i am going to just use the Brf cake alone in a tray with a casing layer on top.

What kind of casing will you be using?  I'm assuming you're going to moisten the casing before you apply it, no?

i would mix your crumbled cakes with something like coir
this will improve your over all yields
