A MUSHROOM CASING WITH A MARIJUANA CLONE IN IT?

Okay, so I have this grand Idea, where after I FINALLY get a fucking cake to fruit, I can move on to this project I've been thinking about for a loooooong time, and any thoughts would be MUCH appreciated.

What I want to do, is do a standard casing tek, with a LARGE cubensis strain, like EQ or Hawaiian, stuff thats not toooo prone to contams...
Anyways, before colonization of the casing layer, or maybe 2 days after casing, I want to add a small marijuana clone to the casing, wich will be in rockwool...
This will only be for PHOTO purposes, as I have never seen a marijuana plant and shrooms sharing the same atmosphere(Cultivated anyways)...
So, The rockwool would be sterilized, soaked in H202 and water, then plant will root for 1 week. The plant will be treated in a completely sterile environment, and misted lightly with 1/100 bleach water, to keep contams down...Then I will fruit the
casing, and hopefully end up with a nice bud photo + shrooms growing all around it..
PLEASE GIVE ME HELP!
And if anyone else would like to do a growlog on this ahead of me, then go for it, I wouldn't mind doing a "joint" experiment!HAHAHA! where we just share the knowledge..I can feel myself rambling now, so I stop here and leave it up to you... :cool:

some specifics to consider. you would have to plant the plant, induce flowering at about 6 inches, and end up with a 12-18 inch plant. it would be impossible to plant the shrooms exactly at the right time, so the plant and shrooms will fruit simultaneously.
other considerations:
-casings are non nutritous. you would need a hydro setup
-the bleach may harm the plant
-the plants roots will rot with too much water. the shrooms will not grow without high humidity
-shrooms and mj have different auras. when one sees shrooms, they think of exploring a magical place, when one sees weed, one thinks of just relaxing, and chillen. even though they are used in conjunction, when taking snapshots, youll want to appeal more toward their effects rather than their real world use

my idea is to put a cool ass trippy background with the shrooms. try to make me melt into a euphoria, not show a drug parade.

Im will try an experiment where I grow some marijuana plants in agar inside of jars and then transplant once roots appear.

Nah man wouldent work. With no nutes or growth hormone the rockwool wouldent even root. I bet the bleach would adversely effect it also. I bet you might be able to rig up a hydra pod. Why not just cut off your main cola and stick the stem inside the casing. This Im almost sure would be like a deep scratch and fuck up the casing. Whats a picture worth

Well A casing takes like 20 days tops a weed plant takes 90 days minumum. What you would have if it actually worked would be a 3-6 inch sprout with 4 nodes; Hardly a budshot

Do not put bleach on your plants, ever.
Take your cutting and once it has started to root put it into a 12/12 light cycle and flower it for like 5 or so weeks. In the mean time you have a colonized casing coverd and in the fridge so it won?t pin. After like 5 weeks take the casing out and allow it to start pinning and put your cutting in the casing then. I see this as being the best way for you to pull this off.

my solution to this is so simple I can't even belive you dreamed up this elaborate scheme! it's called photoshop. give me a pic of a bed of fungus fruiting and a pic of some nice bud growing/fruiting and I'll produce that picture in 10 minutes flat.

i agree that is the way to go. the pot plant's roots will probably quickly take over the casing, sucking out any water and likely harming the shrooms.

A solution to feeding the marijuana/ mushroom substrate has no viable marijuana nutes, would be to feed a big syringe full of hydro food, straight into the rockwool.
I don't know what effects it would have on the mycellia, but I do know that ANY chemicals can cause weird disformations in fruiting bodies...But, since it would be for photo purpose only, maybe that would be cool?
I still believe it WOULD work...

why punish 2 perfectly good fruits? it's like plant/fungi torture for the sake of a picture that can be digitally created to achieve the same effect. your almost 100% guaranteed to kill/hurt both. what is the point?

In theory it could be done. Wether or not you can do it... well, put it this way... don't waste the fungi or the plant. Its not worth it when you could use Adobe Photoshop and make a picture that looks so real you couldn't tell the difference. Hell, you could even make a video with the shrooms and plant talking to eachother with macromedia flash and photoshop.
