no mycelia on casing after one week??? (pic)

I'm starting to get a little worry about the casing it has been a week and i still see no sign of mycelia or so i think do you think that it should be cold shock. here are some pics. oh yeah it is just verm..

As long as you dont see any contams, and the vermiculite is still wet you should see something any day now

is that your incubator? why isnt your casing covered up? and what is the temperature?

Cold shock it? The only thing that can do at this point is slow down growth. How deep is your casing layer. Give us some specs man, SPECS!!!

its not in the incubator its just a bin that i keep it in since the tek i use for the casing (Casing for Dummies) says to keep it in a dark and warm place i put it in there for now. the reason it is not cover is just that i can take the picture real quick and the temp is around 80. i never open it open it up or fan it just to check on it thats all...

Right now you want the mycelium to recover and gain a strong hold in the upper casing layer so it can be triggered by the light and then start birthing mushrooms. So pop that sucka in the incubator for a week and then fruit it.
