that is / was very beautiful, eehoo :sun:  thank you for sharing.  It is like, to me, the Han San poem -

'Time is one wing of a gnat,
Space is the other;
The Universe is the hair of a horse.'

And cyclic things in general from Hinduism and Buddhism, etc.

I had a couple to share;

'I love all of you,' - Red Hot Chili Peppers. :sun: hehe and. .

I am really not sure if I shared this before, and

'My God is Love, and sweetly suffers all'

was always very beautiful to me.

Namaste, Peace & Love.

That is -- not seemingly very understandable.  Certainly not wondering what you mean, though. :sun:  :peace:

'Be kind whenever possible - it is always possible,' Dalai Lama

'Life is so hard - how can we be anything but kind?' - Jack Kornfield

'Grown men may learn from very little children, for the hearts of little children are pure, and, therefore, the Great Spirit may show to them many things which older people miss.' - Black Elk

'Children understand very well that in each woman, in each man, in each child, there is capacity of waking up, of understanding, and of loving.' - Thay

'If nature is never bound down, nor the voice of inspiration stifled, that is enough,' - Margaret Fuller

Your happiness-gift

Of all the gifts
You have offered to God,
Your happiness-gift
He treasures most.

Sri Chinmoy – part 93, #05

The fare

What is the fare
From earth to Heaven?
The fragrance-beauty
Of a gratitude-heart.

Sri Chinmoy – part 67, #100

Every time I run away from You

Every time I run away from You
And come back,
I see Your Eyes
More illumining than before,
And I feel Your Heart
More forgiving than before.

Sri Chinmoy – part 41, #01

Can this be true?
Can this be true!
No desire binds me,
No temptation haunts me,
No imperfection blights me.
Can this be true?

Sri Chinmoy – 207 Flower Flames, #25

Unlearn and learn

Anything that binds you,
Unlearn it.
Anything that blinds you,
Unlearn it.
Anything that limits you,
Unlearn it.

Anything that awakens you,
Learn it.
Anything that liberates you,
Learn it.
Anything that fulfils you,
Learn it.

– Sri Chinmoy part 13, #03

1208 If you can brave the shock

If you can brave the shock
Of discovering that you are not the person
You thought yourself to be,
Then you are already on the road
To self-recovery,
Leading
To self-discovery-kingdom.

– Sri Chinmoy part 13, #08

1217 Do You Know Why?
Do you know why
You do not want to dominate others?
You do not want to dominate others
Because you are amazingly strong.

Do you know why
You do not blame others?
You do not blame others
Because your heart-life is flooded
With the qualities of sainthood.

– Sri Chinmoy part 13, #17

Could you define the word 'paranoiac'?
Could you define it in more detail?
- Uh.. Is when.. The name is... paranoiac critical method
- Because it is one spontaneous method of knowledge based in the instantaneous association of delirious material

The Holy Mountain

The Alchemist: The grave receives you with love. Surrender yourself to the Earth. Return what was loaned to you. Give up your pleasure, your pain, your friends, your lovers, your life, your past, what you desire. You will know nothingness, it is the only reality. Don't be afraid, it's so easy to give. You're not alone, you have a grave. It was your first mother. The grave is the door to your rebirth. Now you will surrender the faithful animal you once called your body. Don't try to keep it, remember, it was a loan. Surrendered your legs, your sex, your hair, your brain, your all. You no longer want to possess, possession is the ultimate pain. The earth covers your body, she came to cover you with love, because she is your true flesh. Now you are an open heart, open to receive your true essence your ultimate perfection. Your new body, which is the universe, the work of god. You will be born again, you will be real. you will be your own father, your own mother, your own child, your own perfection. Open your eyes, you are the earth, you are the green, you are the blue, you are the Aleph, you are the essence. Look at the flower, look at the flower, for the first time look at the flowers.

(full screen- :p http://mooji.org/quotes/31october15.jpg)

Avoid cynicism, arrogance and judgement of others and life, for this more than any other evil blinds you to seeing the glory and miracles of God in your daily life.

(Sometimes God reveals himself in the very thing or one you have been judging and you find yourself bowing at the feet of that one.)

Cradle Song
From groves of spice,
O’er fields of rice,
Athwart the lotus-stream,
I bring for you,
Aglint with dew,
A little lovely dream.

Sweet, shut your eyes,
The wild fire-flies
Dance through the fairy neem;
From the poppy-bole
For you I stole
A little lovely dream.

Dear eyes, good night,
In golden light
The stars around you gleam;
On you I Press
With soft caress
A little lovely dream.

- Sarojini Naidu

:sun: a very enjoyable read, whole thing

(principia discordia)... not to be taken seriously.. or is it? or is that the whole point? :sun:

hehe

goes along with --

love and play are normal and natural,
natural is vital :sun:
etc.
hehe
w/out further etc. :sun: hehe

---

just play! basically :sun:

laugh and play, laugh and play
other animals do this all day, etc. :sun; okay... have a blast

love and play! happiness

'the curse of greyface'

In the year 1166 B.C., a malcontented hunchbrain by the name of Greyface, got it into his head that the universe was as humorless as he, and he began to teach that play was sinful because it contradicted the ways of Serious Order. "Look at all that order about you," he said. And from that, he deluded honest men to believe that reality was a straightjacket affair and not the happy romance as men had known it.
It is not presently understood why men were so gullible at that particular time, for absolutely no one thought to observe all the DISORDER around them and conclude just the opposite. But anyway, Greyface and his followers took the game of playing at life more seriously than they took life itself and were not unknown even to destroy other living beings whose ways of life differed from their own.
The unfortunate result of this is that mankind has since been suffering from a psychological and spiritual imbalance. Imbalance causes frustration, and frustration causes fear. And fear makes a bad trip. Man has been on a bad trip for a long time now.
It is called THE CURSE OF GREYFACE.

principia etc.

“So, you are obviously the big dick. The men on the side of ya are your balls. There are two types of balls. There are big brave balls, and there are little mincey faggot balls. Now, dicks have drive and clarity of vision, but they are not clever. They smell pussy and they want a piece of the action. And you thought you smelled some good old pussy, and have brought your two small mincey faggot balls along for a good old time. But you’ve got your parties mangled up. There’s no pussy here, just a dose that’ll make you wish you were born a woman. Like a prick, you are having second thoughts. You are shrinking, and your two little balls are shrinking with ya. The fact that you’ve got “Replica” written down the side of your gun. (draws his gun) And the fact that I’ve got “Desert Eagle point five O” written on the side of mine, should precipitate your balls into shrinking, along with your presence. Now… Fuck off!'
