Keep in mind that this was Oliver Stones interpretation of what happened...it may or may not be what really went down. Either way, I think it's pretty common knowledge that something stinks...

My dad just flat-out refuses to believe any conspiracy theories. He always uses this quote: "Never blame on malice what can be explained by ignorance."

Ask him how the coroner "lost" Kennedy's brain.

He'll probably say the coroner was ignorant and didn't know what he was doing, or something like that.

You should see the series "The Men Who Killed Kennedy" from The History Channel.

You would be astounded. I've never seen "JFK" though.

Yea i've seen both, and the History channel show was very very disturbing!! I was leary of American domestic policy before, but these programs completely ruined America for me. I will never ever trust the poor ol' US of A. again. I am now horrified and seeking residence in Canada.

I haven't worked in Canada since 1987, but in Fiscal year 1987 I had 52.5% of each paycheck vanish before I ever saw it. I was a single male with no dependents. There is federal and provincial income tax, health care deductions, unemployment insurance deductions, Canada Pension Plan (like Social Security) deductions, and I think for some there is Workman's Compensation deductions as well. I might have missed a few. Note that this was fifteen years ago... I think it unlikely that the bite would be less today than it was then.

As well, virtually everything you buy you must pay another fifteen per cent on at the cash register: 7% federal sales tax and (in Ontario) 8% provincial sales tax. Some provinces the provincial sales tax is even higher, I believe.

And of course there are extra taxes on gasoline, alcohol and cigarettes. A month ago in Ontario a pack of cigarettes was running the equivalent of US $5.23.

Bur at least with Canada's famous free health care system, you do get the privilege of making a doctor's appointment 6 weeks in advance if something is bothering you, and your doctor will have approximately seven and a half minutes to spend with you before scheduling an MRI test three and a half months down the road. But you don't have to pay him for it.

For Casino Winnings or lottery winnings we don't have to pay tax...and I don't know about selling weed to medical banks but I HIGHLY doubt that's true.
