Water to rye grain ratio?

I'm about ready to get some Pressure cooking going . Rye grain in 1 pint wide mouth jars. How much water mixed into the jar with the grain works best? And when I put hot water in the pressure cooker how far up the jars should the water reach?

Simmer the grain in water for 1/2 an hour, until a few of the kernels are starting to burst. Pour it into a strainer and let it drain for about 1/2 hour and then load it into your jars and PC for an hour.

Works for me.  :laugh:
