I would bet pretty penny that Ole Bill gates installed a hidden back door into alll latest windows versions...
I suspected it for a long time and heard from other people...
Few days ago i was monitoring my incoming and outgoing data traffic (on the internet) and i discovered SOMETHING sent OUT more than 100 mgbts of data in half hour , out into the intewebs...
It wasnt update
it wasnt torrents
I wasnt uloading anything
WHAT was it?

Bill Gates doesn't need to add any backdoors to windows due to the large number of security holes present.
In 2009 they fixed 74 of them, with thousands more lurking unfixed.
Use wireshark to figure out what the unusual traffic is.

I downloaded that software but don't understand what I'm seeing. I've read the user guide thing and must have missed something. Is there an easy way for a dummy to decipher this info?

You will need to have some understanding of tcpip networking to decypher the info.
Send me a screen shot and I will tell you what it means.

I saved the last scan or whatever it's called. Could I put it to a zip file and pm it to you or should I post it here?

What's an mgbts? 100 megabits in half an hour ins't that much data. Most networks operate at 1000 megabits each second.
Adobe software, Java software, Windows autoupdate, printer driver software, antivirus software, and just about everything else installed on your computer will "call home" to check for updates. They do this even when the program is closed and not being used. So, if it's 100 megabits I wouldn't worry too much.
Run updated antivirus/antimalware software, and some firewall software. Buy it from a retail store, don't rely on free stuff. Don't pirate any software from the internet (that's a sure way to get some malware). Stay away from torrents. They f stuff up. Let all of the aformentioned programs do their updates. Those updates protect you from trouble. If you have done those things, don't worry.
The worst you have is that your machine has been turning into a zombie. Current A/V software will at least detect and probably fix it. Being dillegent keeping all software updates current will help prevent it. But I doubt anything is wrong at all. Most often a zombie machine is unusably slow.

Yes, free. No trojans or anything. Its very respected in the computer security community.
See http://sectools.org
Also, the best way to keep a windows machine up to date is to run Secunia PSI, and install the updates it tells you to. 99% of windows machines are completely insecure due to outdated adobe acrobat, MS office, apple quicktime, shockwave, flash, etc. All of these programs allow your computer to be completely compromised just by going to the wrong web page unless you have the newest version installed. You don't even need to click anything. It makes no sense worrying about backdoors when you leave the front door open.
If you don't know if your front door is open or closed, trust me, its open.

1. Get a firewall. 2. Get anti-spyware/virus. 2. Get a port monitor. 3. Look to see where your comp is connecting or sending data to and what kind of data that may be. 4. Get a DNS mapping app that might track the suspect IP address to a geographic location. (might help in finger pointing if you know someone there. This is a serious longshot though.)
5. Use your super 1337 hax0r skills d00d!11!1!
