Inski says it may take a whole year for the mycelium to fruit, As with Azzies. But don't give up.
"P. ovoideocystidiata is a woodlover that requires a long season to build up enough metabolites before fructification will occur, it will take a year or longer after inoculating wood chips before this species will fruit!" Quote from Inski
If you can place it near a stream or pond, the water evaporation will help the mushrooms
I know, growing woodlovers requires a lot of patience.
I will place the outdoor bed near that creek, hoping it will help them to fruit some day.

Do you have a copy of this image in higher resolution that you could post in here. That is an AWESOME photo!

A little bit closer. I put the woodblock on a piece of wet newspaper some weeks ago and the newspaper was consumed immediately.

Just curious if there are some Hyphal Knots on the right side. Anyone else see what I'm looking at

Very beautiful nightflyer,
It's amazing to see the rhizomorphs growing into the expanded clay pellets like that, you must have chosen a very robust rhizomorphic sector to isolate, nice work

Thanks for all the nice comments!
The aim is still to grow Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata in the same way like Shiitake; on logs using wood dowel spawn. This is just an experiment in order to work out if Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata mycelium is able to permeate solid wood.

Hi Lib

Really wondering if those are Hyphal Knots on the right side of the block in the picture. What do the white dots look like in person? Does anybody else see what I do?
