Where are your pics? I would love to see them, so start a new thread and share them with us all.

I just signed up yesterday, so they should be up today on my profile. Rest assured every picture IS P.Ovoideocystidiata. I tried to put them on the message board, but I'm new to this. they should be up on my profile.

What is your assessment of potency (e.g., how hard did you trip, and "body load"/"visuals"/et al., and on what quantity) as compared to cubes?

Is it just me, or do those "ovoids" look EXACTLY like cubensis?

Yea, those look more like malabar cubes than any sort of ovoid. Cubes for sure though.
You may have inoculated with ovoid spores, but spore contamination does happen. Don't mean to shoot down your party, but ovoids definitely don't fruit on brf indoors. Or outdoors for that matter. As far as I know, they need wood to fruit. Although waylitjim has recently got cyanofriscosa to pin indoors on coir, so who knows. Either way though, what you have is not ovoids.

I agree those are Cubensis not at all PSILOCYBE OVOIDEOCYSTIDIATA. The only Ovoid pics I seen were the ones picked wild not growing
And to the OP I have been working with this strain also and love the way this is going. Please keep us posted on the outcome

whats your next step going to be? do you think you can get fruits off it? is it going to go outside eventually?
Good questions! I really don't know if it will fruit. The problem will be to maintain the correct temperatures (50F - 60F) to induce fruiting after the block is fully colonized. But springtime is near and probably I will place the plastic tub outside to induce fruiting.
Not sure if this helps with fruiting or not but here's something I noticed with one attempt I made. I tried to fruit on logs @ 73-76 dgs Far. for 12 hours and 65-69 F. 12 hours and nothing with 90% humidity. So I turned off heat and moisture to see what happened and temps around 65-69 F daytime and 60-63 F nigh time temps and about 70% humidity and I actually fruited about 9 fruits

I've seen outdoor cultivation of ovoids, just not on brf. Check these threads from mycotopia, they've certainly mastered the art of woodlovers over there:
http://forums.mycotopia.net/exotic-magic-mushroom-species-woodlovers/39943-woodlover-08-too.html http://forums.mycotopia.net/holding-tank/38598-rhizos-lab-azur-baeo-cyan-friscosa-ovo.html
Here's a pic from the first thread, ovoids. Made me jizz my pants when I first saw it:

Yes they can be cultivated outdoors I have a patch myself. But paducahovoids said he grew them on BRF cakes not an outdoor bed. And I didn't see those pics.
